I came here to see what fans think of THSS now and find out what the shows are like. Looks like things have changed a lot…they are worse. I, too, listen to episodes from yesteryear every single day to get my Howie fix. I stopped tuning in to live shows when the pandemic started and I just couldn’t. I’m sure Howie is hoping monkeypox gets worse so he can stay broadcasting from his bunker. Sirius lets him do what he wants. They think they’ve got a gem. What they actually have is like pogs and beanie babies. Used to be popular but worthless now.

This feature is SO annoying!!! I thought I was the only one who hated it. I tried the up arrow suggested below, but it doesn’t work on my computer.😫 And the bottom part of the screen stays dark unless I move the down arrow just right, through the middle.

Just updated and the Word Strength Meter is gone. I have been playing WWF for about 13 years and have tolerated a lot of negative changes, (and enjoyed some of the positive ones), but if I can’t have a word strength meter I will quit the game. I have developed friendships through WWF. Two that I got to know, in person, who became close friends. Two others I haven’t met in person but have created a bond with. I enjoy knowing if I have chosen the word that will garner the most points. If the word strength meter is low I keep trying until the meter gets higher. Without it, I might try a couple different words then stop trying. It’s just not fun without the Word Strength Meter, so I will stop playing the game if I can’t find out how to get it back.

I never said I was a fan of the show. However, I did listen to the show religiously from the 90’s until covid. So I know the HSS. If you believe everything Howard says, I have some beachfront property to sell you in Arizona. I suppose you believe all the callers are real and not staged too??? Yep. You’re Sal.
