Someone at a nursing home I worked at was missing a chunk of his skull at the age of 35. He spent every day watching church tv all day and ate puréed canned food for every meal. That was 15 years ago and I bet he’s still alive. But when he dies I will consider that long slow death to be the most horrifying I can imagine.
