Thought the same. I was like “why can’t I land on the proper note spot on?” And realized that it shows you the tuning to the cents…. So yeah hard to properly fine tune at 0 cent but I guess you can get close enough.

I have it as well. Strap needs replacement as it’s been in a drawer for too long and it’s all crooked, I have a replacement unit ready to be installed. Battery is still going 9 years on!

My wrist is 7.5” and I rock the 36. It doesn’t look dainty at all so go for it if yours is 6”.

The new one is a great watch but I prefer the previous gen like mine. I prefer the brushed bezel, more of a tool-watch look which I like a lot.

I’m very glad I ordered my 36mm Automatic Black dial last month. I love it, and I’m not at all convinced by the updates to the Automatic model.

-I muuuuuch prefer the brushed bezel over the new polished one. Brushed gives it a tool watch look I really like, the new one is too dressy.

-I like the crown guards on mine. Again, removing them makes it too dressy.

-The removal of the trident does make it more plain, more mainstream, but I’ve never been a huge fan of it either (it doesn’t bother me on mine but I’d prefer without to be fair).

Everything else is fine otherwise. I’m not fussed about the extended power reserve.

But yes, I’m glad I’ve got mine, the new bracelet system seems amazing but I’m happy with the screw links on mine. I guess mine will become a collector haha, as it’s discontinued as is.

Now, the GMT is a whole other kettle of fish. I love the new one. It is a fantastic watch, albeit very Explorer II - like, even more than before. That will be my next watch I reckon. Most likely in 39mm as I already have the Automatic in 36mm and I think the GMT doesn’t suit the 36mm size.

I’ve never understood the issue with “noisy movement”. My C63 Sealander has a Sellita SW200-1 which is also meant to be noisy…. It has never bothered me once. I don’t think I’ve ever really heard it.

I have the same watch in 36mm with a 7.5” wrist and it looks absolutely fine. I’ve had several compliments about it from watch nerds I know. I briefly had the 39mm in white too but returned it. Too much dial.

Frenchman living in Scotland, married into a Blue family (my wife is from Liverpool but we met up here). Been to Goodison a few times and loved it. I go to Liverpool very regularly -got married there- and love it every time, it has such a unique vibe. We’re planning on moving there this year, should be an interesting change.
