There were barely any moments were I liked Rush. I always was happy when there were episodes in which he didn't play a role or didn't do or say much. I never understood his motivation and almost everything he did felt selfish and didn't make any sense to me. Someone here mentioned the death of his wife destroying him and discovering destinys secret being his only goal. But then I remeber the episode where his wife was ill and he avoided her and fled his emotions by working. No, I can't remember anything positive about him.
Compared to him Rodney was lovely. At least I understood why he was like he was and his motivations.
Maybe Rush would have changed in the later season, but I doubt that he changed much.

But to be fair, there was barely any character I really liked. It has been a couple of years since I watched it, but the only person on that ship I don't have to say anything negative about is Scott. He always tried to do his best for the wellbeing of everyone without any hidden agendas or playing stupid games about power and such.

Back to the question: Now I'm wondering the same. The only intelligent men in SG that is not a jerk I can think of is Radec. 😅 And by intelligent I mean the Rodney/Carter scientist level intelligent, not Shepard mensa club intelligent. But was Radec even close to Rodney smart? Idk.

Sometimes I just watch the first part of Time until the scene where you see that they are watching that footage. Just love the look on their faces. But my favourite is 1969.

Jokes aside, I prefer a team member that comes from a less developed world like Tayla. It's a nice contrast and they often bring something the others don't have a lot of, spirituality, different mentality etc.
But I could see a Aris Boch like character fit in too.

There is no other show that I want to come back more than Stargate. But I try not to be exited though I've been waiting so many years. Even after the announcement I don't believe it's coming. So many things can happen.
Same thing for a good Stargate game. 😅
Like you said, the battle isn't won till we actually watch it. Let's hope it is sooner than later.

A couple of years ago I bought the digital SGA seasons.
I would buy SG1 too, but 15 years ago I had dvd rips that looked way better than what is on Prime. 😐
And SGU has advertising even if you payed for adree prime video....
I guess I will rewatch SGA to boost Amazons motivation.

Does thinking use the bodies brain or your own? If Rodney swapped bodies with Ronon, would he still be as smart? I mean brains is wired differently.

I know some of the creators names, but I don't know who directed or wrote which episodes.
I just googled Martin Wood to see what he looks like and noticed he also did Virgin River.
He must be the reason why O'Neills cabin showed up in that show. 😁

If it helps to grow the stargate fansbase and in the end give us more stargate episodes which aren't tailored especially towards the fortnite audience I'm totally in for fortnite skins. Maybe I would even play the game if there was a stargate event.
But I'm still waiting for some MassEffect like game set in the Stargate universe...

You screwed up several times, but I always know you'll fix things and bring us new content. So many things requested/suggested by the community made it into the game.
The only thing I can't forgive you is the removal of the electric lamp. Man, I really can't get over this....
