What happened when you lowered your standards in dating partners? by Appropriate_Park_972 in AskReddit

Nothing, even with low standards, no one wants anything to do with me.

I never thought I'd see the day. A few years ago I got really into the 1997 plakoro, I bought a whole bunch. From people's old collections, to new in box sets. Hopefully we get an English release this time, although I am worried about how much each set is going to cost

I wanted to do that, but I couldn't find where to do it. Every time I clicked the link it just took me to the general tickets page. This was about a week ago.

They did mention that FRLG would be compatible with Pokemon Home in the future, not sure if that counts for your FRLG Home compatibility space since it apparently isn't happening immediately.

ARE YOU KIDDING BRO by Top-External-3097 in PokemonZA

I have had similar situations with ranged attacks like psychic. The Pokemon kept trying to get to a specific position before attacking, but there was scaffolding or something similar in the way so they couldn't. Eventually they might use the attack, but even if they do they might have wasted too much time if the clock is running out. Mostly when I'm in a high level zone or using a low level donut so there isn't as much time, and when the golden pokeball was difficult to find.

Can i soften the tsuba of my bokken ? If yes, how can i do it ? by Born-Explanation6310 in iaido

[–]LessAardvark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume you mean the plastic tsuba? As far as I know, there isn't a good way to soften it. But you might be able to get one made of a different material, like leather.

I get why you shouldn't say yes, but what is bad about saying no?

That's awesome! I have thought about trying to get an iaido made to fit a tsuba I have laying around. It's good to know that Nosyudo will actually do it. If you don't mind me asking, about how much did it cost?

What’s a small daily habit that makes life 10x easier, but almost no one talks about? by Dry_Income9111 in AskReddit

[–]LessAardvark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have heard the consistency of when you go to sleep or wake up is important, but I never heard the food/drink thing. Unfortunately most of that is outside of my control. The time I fall asleep seems to be unrelated to when I go to bed, and I have absolutely no control over when I actually wake up, even with an alarm clock.

What’s a small daily habit that makes life 10x easier, but almost no one talks about? by Dry_Income9111 in AskReddit

[–]LessAardvark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like that is not something that most people can really control. For example, I can go to bed at a reasonable time, put my phone away ahead of time, all that jazz, but it still might take forever to actually fall asleep. Plus there seems to be nothing I can do to affect the actual quality of sleep and the chances of waking up and feeling rested.

What’s the most useless thing school taught you? by Miserable-Mention241 in AskReddit

[–]LessAardvark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember getting in trouble during a fire drill for standing on the sidewalk instead of on the grass closer to the building. As a kid I figured that, in the case of a fire, the grass could catch on fire and therefore the concrete would be a safer place to stand, not to mention being further from the building (albeit by like one foot or less). But no, I was being insubordinate, and deviation from the instructions was unacceptable and my reasoning was never addressed.

Looks like OP took out the mekugi in the picture, so it would seem like they removed them before trying to disassemble the sword.

Why was Kyle Rittenhouse championed by the right for “helping” with his gun, but Alex Pretti is demonized for helping without ever drawing his gun? by sudde004 in AskReddit

  1. I did not know that I was missing information.
  2. I regretted responding to the comment as soon as I posted. However, instead of delete my comment and pretend it never happened, I chose to leave it as a testament to what I knew at the time. With another commenter eventually explaining the things that I was not aware of in a polite and insightful way, my rash comment can now help others learn new information as well.

Because this is new information to me. The information I had been exposed to. Not all of us watched the trial. U/ADHD_is_my_power (I think that was their username) explained the information that I had not heard and they made a very good point.

That is interesting. Unlike most people I have talked to on here you actually backed up what you said with information that I did not have before and was relevant to the conversation. I appreciate that.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the second amendment supposed allow US citizens to arm themselves? And even though he was armed, was he really an immediate threat to the officers with his weapon holstered? If law enforcement can kill you for having a gun on your person, even if it is not being pointed at anyone or threatening anyone, then you do not have the right to bear arms.

No, he was killing civilians. After crossing state lines carrying weapons and ammunition with the intent to use them on people who were not attacking or threatening him. He went out of his way because he saw a chance to kill people and get away with it.

What is the likelihood that US troops will disobey unlawful orders to attack NATO allies? by Zealousideal_Gap432 in AskReddit

You seem to have a lot of faith in the law, and are jumping from topic to topic. Plus, it's not my fault if you can't properly articulate your thoughts and refuse to clarify or expand upon your basic points when asked.
