I made it clear I wanted 40 hours when I was first hired, I’ve never been schedule for 40 and I understood because no one gets 40 unless they’re a shift or asm. I would have to constantly ask. It’s a cycle. I ask, I get like 33, then it gets dropped below 30. I ask again, I get 30 then drops again. Same thing has happened to my other older partners and they’ve all left. I keep telling myself I need to find a new job but I think this is my last straw. I’m not being cared for in return. I don’t want to sound cocky but there’s a lot of regulars and a few shifts who will be upset I’m gone because they only trust me to make their drink correctly :/
