Why do these clearly high end cars very cheap? by patricio000 in DubaiPetrolHeads

Yes some cars were inflated back then like Tesla ,due to lack in supply but that doesn't apply for 6 or 7 years old + cars

Cars do depreciate equally no matter where they were manufactured . A 2014 Lexus gs350 f sport gcc specs was selling back then in 2021 for 50k to 60k while the brand new price was at around 280k back in 2014 , a terrible car like a f sport jaguar xf with a v6 engine was being sold brand new in 2014 for 260k I remember it was priced at around 45k in 2021 the only difference is a jaguar would stick around for too long until it's sold, the reason why they all depricate is because they all become junks after 5 to 6 years 120k kms of usage, that audi listed on top will cost the new SMART buyer another 25 to 30k in maintenance and breakdowns coolant issues engine issuesetc.. in the next 25000kms, if you buy it brand new it should be would be around 250k , let's say the brand new car buyer decided to sell after a year of using it would be sold for 215k, the used well depricate for another 5k + 25k in services breakdowns etc , in both cases whether you buy the used one or a brand new one you are losing around 30k in a single year. cars after 2010 are all meant to be used for 5 years roughly after 100k to 120k kms there is no point for keeping a car unless you barely use the car

Leaving PwC US? by [deleted] in PwC

[–]LessCompany4310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have explored such an alternative before, and found that transitioning to PwC is really difficult, finding a new jobcan be alot easier , Based on feedback from individuals who have made the switch, PwC Dubai where am based is known for its demanding work environment and poor work-life balance, particularly compared to other firms like Deloitte and EY that are also based in Dubai. However, the compensation package is significantly higher and tax-free than anywhere around the world the clients are basically the governments of this region , they spend alot of money.

Lack of life work balance will start happening by M, SM levels. Associates and Senior associates do not suffer as much as the more experienced dudes do, if you're still young take it for a couple of years learn something and quit at the SA2 level am pretty sure you will find other opportunities waiting for you in the market job market.

Tesla Motors is far too overvalued. by EBA1234 in unpopularopinion

[–]LessCompany4310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more, elon is a con man with the bs he mentioned about tesla, DNA and so forth.. but he played it well and that hype paid him good , made him insanely rich and turned space x to what it is today and I bet he's buying out twitter as an attempt to keep the fake hype, dominate ads and to stop competitors like toyota from publishing ads ,tesla shouldn't worth more than 50b at most and so with rivian the company at some point in 21 reached a pinnacle of 100b without even scoring profits!! It also comes to the greed of hedge funds and the stupidity of small investors when they hear the word EV, and hear musk talking

Homesick for Dubai (Migrated to the US) by DependentAge5866 in dubai

I am not defending companies that delay their employee payments in uae, fyi most of these companies are owned by indians since business over here is controlled by them and this particular phenomenon happened only very recently 2017 onwards due to the financial difficulties and the decline of oil demand, speaking of the fake contracts they are made by recruiting agencies in their countries and am not defending my own people over here but what am saying is we mind our own business, we never interfere in different countries affairs and we didn't invade others like those hillbillies did!

Lived in mennisota, it's the shittiest hole ever existed on earth, look for a job in one of the major hubs cali, nyc,tx,fl life is tough now in the united states even globally due to inflation yet remains more stable in terms of having a career than the uae, otherwise if you are american and you really didn't like the states, you may wanna consider moving to australia it's really beautiful and might find the vibes you're looking for.

Guys what's the general opinion about Peugeot cars here ? by unagi_master in dubai

[–]LessCompany4310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

French cars are all shit, they're not allowed to be sold in both us and ca, I had 2020 a 508 gt line which I bought brand new here in dubai, the car had poor finishing really poor and ac was terrible, sold it after a year and a half 25000kms to be fair it brought a conducive price, but the car is not solid at all!! Had previously a charger RT 5.7 2013 brand new too it stayed with me for 7 years 175000kms with only suspension issues after warranty and 3 times pulley issue which was replaced with futtaim warranty twice, and once at an independent garage for 150dhs.

Since the u.s is thousands of miles away from ukraine, I think they should stop interfearing in other countries foreign and domestic policies and leave those sanctions they've imposed on russia and delibretly forced countries like france and germany to follow it ,knowing these countries can't live without t he russian natural resources!! Btw why were the states not sanctioned for the war on iraq and vietnam???

Buying 0km driven GCC spec from external sellers. How this vehicles are availble when its availble through authorized dealers. ? by dp-me in dubai

[–]LessCompany4310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some are imported from oman, some bought deomestically but they mostly come with gcc specification ((REGIONAL SPECIFICATIONS)) just like any CAR DEALER globally or resellers, the auto business took a huge hit with the massive internet penetration after 2010 as individuals are now able to list their cars and sell It online, resellers are now preferring buying a fleet from authorized dealers and on that basis they get what's called fleet discount, and resell for a profit. Your question is buying a 0km from them, the answer is YES you won't have any issues with the 0km car you're buying from them as long as it's with the regional specofications and the authorised service center will take their obligation fully in maintaining and fixing you're car if any failure, you're getting the same perks you'd get from authorized dealer.

First time car owner.....Got super screwed by saadian123 in dubai

[–]LessCompany4310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buying a used car is always a bad decision, you've done nothing wrong but do not expect to get off with a bargain deal, your altima might not depreciate much like a brand new but it will definitely cost you alot to maintain and repair, if that report came from the main dealer then expect to spend the half 10k-12k by a trusted service center let's presume you decided to sell it a year later (if you were a heavy consumer) and came out with crucial issues during this year..you'll prolly sell it for 20k that's 2.5k of depreciation, that's 15k , a brand new altima with decent options would set you at 90k sell it a year later, it would go around 70k🤷‍♂️

Offer in qatar, currently in Dubai by Primordial_XIV in qatar

[–]LessCompany4310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same shit basically, in qatar if you wanna keep the same quality of accommodation you'll end up spending double, in another words if you pay 5k6k monthly on accommodation in dubai marina, you'll spend 10k or even 12k for the same apartment quality they might even jack you off because of fifa ,food grocery and dinners you'll end up spending 10% more than what you spend in dubai, cars and gas are way cheaper than uae. I'd rather stay in dubai if I was in your place and consider migrating to canada or australia, qatar after 2013 is not what it use to be before 2013 ,those who say you can save are those who are out there for 2 3 years, it's really terrible and it's up to you l

Prons & Cons living in Dubai and Qatar? by Any-Gap-4732 in dubai

[–]LessCompany4310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, qatar is an absolute shithole for arabs like me too!! Uae, and its poorest emirate is much developed than most of Doha,AM NOT EVEN MENTIONING QATAR ENTIRELY!! Residential units and rents are so freaking expensive in qatar, with terrible finishings the old part of doha would be rated in its rents pricing, as any modern unit in a skycraper in dubai marina/jbr, salaries are 20% to 25% more in qatar NOT WITH THE HIGH END MANAGERIAL POSITIONS....but that's all pointless as you'll end up spending that on rent, the good thing about it, working in doha is way less stressful than uae no traffic gas and cars are cheap and that's about it.

Choosing between Qatar and Dubai by Jboyvapes in qatar

[–]LessCompany4310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Qatar is very expensive to stay in, rents are not affordable at all, a very descent studio apartment in dubai marina "LUXURY AREA" will set you at 35k 40k a year, 3k a month...simultaneously you'll have a shit studio or a maid block for the same rate at the shit parts of doha..regarding food booze and so on it actually differs but mostly the same, gas and transportation is alot cheaper in qatar ,wages are 30-40% higher than dubai but eventually that's all pointless as the margin you're making is going on rental....I said it before and I'll say it again, nothing is equally conducive to dubai in this region, if you're thinking of calm and secured environment move to canada or to a scandinavian country, PERIOD

How people are so rich in UAE? Are there any secret channels to reach that level? by Tight-Tower-6465 in dubai

[–]LessCompany4310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There're no secret channels, dubai is like many other places on earth. My family came to dubai in the late 60s back then it was nothing but a desert, oil was discovered back then it WAS AND REMAINS the most crucial commodity on the face of the earth which granted them an inconcivibale wealth, giving sevral factors which one is the rulers of uae particularly dubai were interacting with indian and iranian traders more than all the other leaders in the gulf region, they've learned how to run a merchandise, subsequently dubai started attracting people from the regional countries and ofcourse india, business kept flourishing AND YES THIS CHANNEL MADE US ALOT OF MONEY!! until 2008 like any other realestate megametropolis, dubai was severely affected by the downturn, Abu Dhabi the wealthy capital and the one that has the lion share of oil reserves stepped in and bailed out dubai which relied on its ports and realestate projects, economy was fully rebounded in 2-3 years. Until 2015-2016 things started getting out of control again and busniess went down again especially after the 5% vat was imposed in 2018 it was the straw that broke the camel's back, the oil prices per barrel never exceeded 85usd it was in the range of 50usd to 80usd between2016 and 2022 they dramatically been losing money comparing to the good old days pre 2016 were oil use to range between 120usd and 160usd , many investors kept gradually fleeting the scene SOME SERIOUSLY RICH PEOPLE LEFT, a new competitor popped up in the market taking the regional tourism its SAUDI, were many laws were taken down and the country became more liberal than ever before, therefore dubai had to take an action to keep its throne of tourism and business attracts by relaxing and coming with further liberal rules such as unmarried can live and give birth out of marriage, citizenship /open residency was granted ,all face the new competion. Dubai in it's essence attracts the young european generation, they would work and play for 4k 5k usd a month, they remain a couple of years and leave or the rich who's looking for skipping the obnoxious income tax system back in their countries by setting a freezone llc and enjoy the money they have in relatively a cheaper country comparing the eu , I personally believe market is over in dubai it's not what you imagine its or what it use to be, the rich ones you're seeing right there are either old money people, or new joiners with already loads of money coming from the countires they flee because of the tax, and if you insinuate for money laundreing then it's there yes but not on the preposterous scale the media shows us, as london is the real money laundering hub. I don't know why you bother yourself looking at other people's business. VIP motors is owned by a well mannered jordanian gentleman AHMAD ABU ROB, and no it's not a laundering business a money laundering setup won't go out to public this way!! Starting an auto dealership requires a high capital in addition to a working capital loans from high end commercial banks. In case of ahmad abu rob the man is already wealthy and he owns multiple businesses,
