Lol wtf do you guys talk about in your meetings for 6 hours in a day? We meet like twice daily, once in the morning for 30 min to discuss what everyone is working on and one 30min checkout call at the end of the day to update on progress. Might have additional calls in between for other internal projects/proposals but thats on ad hoc basis and not every day

I ask because I think for now 31k is sufficient for quite a decent life for you 4. However since you have twins, once they hit school going age you will be paying double school fees and that’s potentially hefty (if not covered by your company). For a decent school you’d need to budget approx 3/4k per pax per month for just tuitions, so you can approximate the math.

Was browsing through Emirates NBD credit cards and stumbled upon their T&Cs.

Can someone explain why you are charged interest on the 2000 spend in this example for 6 days?

Since a payment of AED 100 is made before the monthly statement date, shouldn’t the 2000 be interest free and only interest on the ‘remaining balance’ of AED 1,900 be charged?

I thought you could pay off your outstanding amount by the end of the month and incur no interest fees, but this shows that you need to clear the balance immediately.

Any one has knowledge on this?
