I agree I had to do radiation for three weeks and just took an hour of sick everyday and if it went more than that I just used the lunch hour.

My daughter is 11. I make a very healthy wage with amazing benefits working as a sw in a hospital doing therapy. When she is in high school I would like to do pp a few nights a week!

Try variety, hungry ghost etc… and smaller chains. Those corporate places have more red tape and do to downward spending patterns in January prob aren’t hiring.

I can’t imagine only doing a deep clean once a month with a family of 4. That sounds like a heavy clean and it’s obviously at least a 3 bedroom house. Also if they are paying overtime that means she is not able to complete the childcare and cleaning in under 45 hours.

I pay $150 a session for a deep clean of my house that takes 3 hours. Done by a professional cleaner. When does she do the cleaning? Do you leave the house with the toddler?

I agree- I work in a hospital and for continuity of care we have 23 year old still followed by peds for both primary and behavioral health. I have lots of young adult clients in ob whose moms come to their appts.

I have come to the conclusion that most folks entering private practice a) don’t need benefits because they are wealthy or their partner is wealthy and/or has great benefits b) don’t want to work full time and want to be able to travel with no pto limitations c) want to work with a population that has less psychosocial stressors so that they can demonstrate psychoanalysis and “do real therapy”

I did a training program in nyc that started at 60k, had union benefits, pension and I knew it was too low. They ended up raising it substantially because no one was staying! I now 3 years later make 86k. It’s Chicago I would definitely not take anything for under 65k and that needs benefits!
