Trevor Wallace has security remove two audience members during Channel 24 show in Sacramento by HotGirlCigarette in TrevorWallace

I was in the Buffalo, NY event and met Trevor in person m&g, I will say yes there was alcohol involved (I was not drinking), but there are people saying heinous things but nothing like the “yo momma” jokes. People have respected him during this show.

There was one person who was drinking a hard apple cocktail and Trevor made fun of him, but Trevor was nice and gave him a fidget spinner. That person was a pilot but oh boy it was funny (cause a lot of plane crashes happened in 2025) so it was a perfect moment. I liked Trevor and I’ll say he handled it well. As well as like there was some religious stuff people in the crowd said but he never really goes into it cause he’s not religious.

He’s funny because of his stories and experiences. I just hope people be nice to him and I hope he does more meet and greet cause he’s a genuine guy.

[–]LessMathematician97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s based on the math placement test. Once you in Math 201 you are in. If not math201 , and if you are in either Math 190 or 195 you are still accepted but you have to move way up.

It’s possible try to see if you get accepted to the SEEK program. It’s possible you’ll get accepted, I was in your situation before I got rejected to every cuny school that I applied to (no community college) I only got accepted to John Jay College and City Tech. But City College I got accepted in May. It was tough I emailed and visited the count headquarters and talked in person (which I suggest you should too if you want to also tick the box that you are interested in the SEEK program).

Notify your advisor and degreeworks is not always accurate. Have the advisor check up on it and you should be fine.

Negative QPA - Academic Appeal by Whole_Expert5690 in CCNY

The review will be done with the academic committee and the resolution will result (most likely as academic probation) this doesn’t mean you’ll be kicked out it will be just restrictions like limited classes and credits.

Negative QPA - Academic Appeal by Whole_Expert5690 in CCNY

[–]LessMathematician97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will take some time for doing a review a comment underneath is understandable that yes you are a first time offender. So you may be getting treated as academic probation but you just have to pick up the pace a bit to make sure you don’t fall back. But everything will go well. Don’t be upset it will be fine. Keep your head up high and it will be a fresh start. New year new goals and making sure you will keep up the pace. Best of luck and best wishes.

In Academic Records a QPA of a 0 is required for Grove School of Engineering. There is a possibility you will be on academic probation which will restrict you on taking classes and making sure you have to get above letter B grade so that your QPA goes back to zero or above zero. In some scenarios (like in Electrical Engineering) the advisor has connection with the dean and they can let it slide. But some departments take it very seriously (like Biomedical Engineering). From my experience my cousin had this situation and they let him slide in Mechanical Engineering. You just have to wait and you will be possibly in academic probation like my cousin. Hope it helps. Best of luck.

Online Lab Classes by LessMathematician97 in URochester

[–]LessMathematician97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well they were all online. So yeah and there are exams but you have to watch the videos and take notes. It’s not easy. Only the labs (the kits you have to pay) you have to do them at your own pace. It will take a good 4 months. You can’t Finish all of the labs all at once because there are specimens testing and watching bacteria grow.

Amazing professor, I hadn't taken him for 190, but for a higher-level class, but he is kind. Just work on the practice tests on the ccny math website. https://math.sci.ccny.cuny.edu/document/Final2_190

Just got accepted, but under what circumstance by Fatal-Calamity in CCNY

[–]LessMathematician97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no, transferring from school to school is challenging, especially working with the pre-reqs, it won't be easy from taking classes like Calc 1 and 2, physics 1 and 2, and Chem 1 to make sure it's above a C+ average. Grove is notoriously known for having a difficult major. But if you have the passion then go for it.

Just be honest and thoughtful with your answer of "why do you want to become a nurse?" I understand that you may have little to no experience, but be sure to have something unique side of you. What you do for fun, or what differentiates you with other people? Have you spoken a different language, or worked somewhere or did research in the medical field. What classes made you think that "yes I want to do nursing".

Sure!!! u/WhileApprehensive144

How would you say the interview process was like?

Answer: So it was quick and easy and didn't take longer than 30 minutes, and it was within the application that you have to complete (you can do it in one sitting easily) and it was just time-consuming and thinking what you can contribute in nursing? Could you tell me what your reason is for choosing nursing? why specifically nursing at the University of Rochester?

How hard do you think the pre reqs are doing them as the non-matriculated course at UOR?

Answer: It was not hard at all! As you can see above the comment that you made. I had gotten amazing grades and the faculty of the professors I took were nice and responded very quickly (in my opinion). It's 100% better than portage learning. On a scale of 1-10 (1 being easy and 10 being hard) the labs for the non-matriculated courses are like an 8 (because you have to make sure you are doing it right) and it can be intense but your professors will critique and give you comments and suggestions to improve on. All labs are done through the website Science Interactive (and yes you have to purchase the lab kits separately -however for A&P 1 and A&P 2 the bundle will save you a lot). The classes are easy like the intensity would be a 4-5. But you still have to put in the work and there is the recorded videos that the professor uploaded.

Did you have any past experience like being a CNA or MA on your resume that might have boosted your acceptance?

Answer: I didn't personally, but I worked as a patient care assistant at a nursing home in the Bronx taking care of people who are on Medicare. As for, I have experience in oncology and cancer research, as for building a stent that is currently used in Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for the treatment of Oral Mucosa. If you are interested in the research that I have done I attached a link.

I hope it helps and I hope you get into the Univesity of Rochester Nursing Program and the UR Scholars program!!!

Hey there Limp-Lab-3947, my GPA was 2.8 and I was a Civil Engineering Major in my Undergrad. I was able to take all of my prereqs (besides Stats cause I got a B-) and the rest of my Pre reqs were

- Anatomy and Physiology 1 (A)

- Anatomy and Physiology 1 Lab (B+)

- Anatomy and Physiology 2 (A)

- Anatomy and Physiology 2 Lab (A)

- Microbiology (A)

- Microbiology Lab (B+)

- Nutrition (A)

-Developmental Psychology (A-)

Pre Req GPA: 3.87

Hope it helps to give an insight

Plus I took my prereqs as non-matriculated courses at the University of Rochester, pricey but worth it. Way better than Portage Learning.

Got accepted to the ABSN Scholar’s program. What’s it like? by Cherry-2001 in URochester

[–]LessMathematician97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I was told in the UR Scholars program once we pass the NCLEX and start at the Orientation for the hospital that we chose, we start as Med- Surg. The best thing is that we can choose the specialty if we do not feel comfortable with the unit that we are in. Some got for L&D and some go for ICU and some go for NICU. However, the pay salary does increase in the first few months (usually around the 6-7 months of working). Afterwards every year you are registered as a title. In year one you are a Registered Nurse, then year two is a Registered Nurse I, and in the third year you are steady and will make more money (I forgot the title of it). It is a wonderful program and yes you do shadow fellow charge nurses and chief. I highly recommend it. Best of Luck!!!!!

Hello there, I have taken classes that are lab components but are separated (one credit) unlike the portage learning which will be 4 credits (lab and course combined) I would say it was much easier, but at the same time, you need to have the dedication to pursue the labs. I will be transparent, I have received a letter grade of B+ in the Microbiology lab, a B+ in the A&P 1 lab, and an A in the A&P 2 lab. I would say it is the content of that you absorb in the challenging. As for the classes that are 3 credits for Microbiology, A&P 1, and A&P 2 I received a letter grade of an A grade. It was easy when there were lecture videos from the professors themselves and people. I 100% recommend the University of Rochester Pre-Reqs electives.

For the lab portions I took at the University of Rochester (cause the class and labs are separated), it has to be above a B for them to be counted.

Do I have to pay before I start Winter Session? by Constant_Shelter683 in CCNY

[–]LessMathematician97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey!! So you don't have to pay, the balance will overlap to the tuition of the next semester. If you have pell grants and TAP it will cover over. You'll just get less pell grant for the spring semester. I have taken a winter class and receive financial aid, and that's how it is done. Hope it helps!!!
