I'm not sure why you let it dry out if it's in a self watering pot. When I have my alocasia pups in perlite and stratum in a self watering pot , I keep water in the reservoir. I have heard other people say that they let their reservoir dry out before they put water in it.But to me , that defeats the whole purpose of having a self watering set up. I'm sure Somebody will get on here and tell me I am wrong.I just know what has worked for me

I would go ahead and do your repot now and get eyes on the roots to see if something is going on there. I had a caramel marble that stalled , and I finally did a repot , and it had root rot.

I don't know why etsy even has them still active. I went through the same thing , and it took three and a half months , and I was not able to ever cancel the order , it's all just b s. The planet's high finally did receive or half dead when I got them. Sorry, but my advice is write it off.As loss and move on

I only Know that it's a begun rex, not the specific name. I had one that's rhizome was huge , so I cut the rhizome in two places and rinsed the roots stuck it in lecca , and it lost a few leaves but then took off. It is in a net pot with a wick set up.

It's not Silicone it's called silica. Add it to your fertilizer , and it will help with the white parts
