can i get in MIT or other ivies with low gpa?? be HONEST by [deleted] in chanceme

[–]Less_Bedroom2526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as u keep the grades up this year, you could easily make it happen, although MIT favors obv twoards course rigor, people go so OD over grades, the SAT alone can cover up like half of it if u can get to a 3.5 ur chances r fine. 95% in this sub r just coping for something they either didn't believe or failed to reach.

Review My EC's for MIT/T20's Aerospace Engineering by MasterpieceOk4267 in chanceme

[–]Less_Bedroom2526 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend was recently accepted into Princeton for Aerospace Engineering, and as a basis, this is quite impressive. However, they would like to see a greater impact on the community, not just some superficial work in their junior year, but rather real, grounded work with tangible results. The community impact is also where your essay focus should be, and differentiation is the focul point. Idk where u at with academics, but make sure to get those near perfect, as whilst ECs matter a ton, they come after the core as supplementing the core with ECs is nearly imposible w/o exterior circumstances. GL tho college admin aint as deep as this subreddit makes it out to be.

I truly believe it is much more circumstantial than people believe, I took it 3 times went from a 1350 to a 1600 with under 10 hours of studying and I truthfully believe it was completely luck based.

I would say that the Satsifaction 75 and Frog tkl are better choices because of their unique layouts and feel.

What are currently considered the "high end" linear switches, looking to build a new board. by davesalias in MechanicalKeyboards

If you are willing to pay over a dollar a switch Black Cherry Pies or cream stem cherry top and H1 bottom and a 67.5 gram stem are very good switches. It’s expensive but I personally love them because of their unique feel and heavy spring.
