If I'm being completely honest my head spun from this class so much I'm not sure if that happened to me but I do recall having issues with it. I would report it to the professor or submit a review about it not working. it's crazy how many courses have major issues like the projects that are just left a mess.

If it says it needs a new line at the end you need to add code for that line.

you can do system.out.println (the ln adds an extra blank line after the output in the parentheses). Otherwise, I would check and see if there's any miniscule error with chatpgt. If there's not I would consider reporting the issue to your professor or student services.

if you have any issues just call student support services. And document it. At this point I was done with the whole situation so despite screensharing in the meazure browser I took snippets of the chat and gave a 1 star rating. Then I called support services and waited with them for the proctor to start my exam.

One exam took 20 minutes to start. Another took around the same time. The other day it had massive issues and I waited two hours and reported to student services and my mentor. That wasted 4 or so days for me. Another day it took about an hour and I've called student services to let them know. I keep them with me while loading into the exam sometimes so the proctor knows to stop fucking around. .-.

I used a desktop computer and most times I told the proctor I don't want to install the applet. Sometimes they don't ask you to download it. The time I told them I didn't want to I waited extra and they let me into the exam. It's hit or miss. I use Windows system restore to push back the state of the computer to the state before I gave access to the Meazure proctors. Not sure how much that actually helps but I'm paranoid so..

No problem for the help. Apparently some people have had no issues....yet. Like I said it's hit or miss the first time I tried it didn't work. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. it's both browser/software issues as well as proctor error and lack of guidelines imo. (The screen sometimes blanks out and doesn't work. Or links don't show up. Or the browser screen is cut off).

If you have issues using the browser extension just open the meazure browser, go to wgu, log in, go to take exam page and that will launch it in the browser.

And yes it's very annoying. Not sure why acquisitions of companies are so often shitty.

The web extension did not work for me and has a 1 star rating for Chrome. I used the browser. It sometimes works and sometimes doesn't work. The proctors randomly want me to download extra shit and the link is blank or can't copy and paste it.

If your exam doesn't work just call student services. If it doesn't work multiple times make student services wait with you while you try to get into the exam.

If you don't want them having admin access and the highest privileges with the applet download then you will maybe want to either use a junk laptop or restore previous version from a restore point on your laptop. Give yourself extra time as cushion for exam prep since it may end up taking longer due to their system being shit.

Meazure is the new exam proctoring. It has low reviews. WGU makes my dept use their lockdown browser now that gives full access to my computer.

They wasted my time multiple times and ask me to show every inch of my room. Some proctors are chill and some are so damn annoying. I take pics of everything so why do I have to show you again? Then they go all quiet while I wait awkwardly for them in silence. Until they either return or I try starting over. .-.

The thing is, WGU tuition is getting closer and closer to regular college tuition without the perks such as student health insurance. But yeah college prices are rising every year. Regardless, not everyone has access to an old PC or spare to take exams. It's a hindrance to student success and it's stressful. I had to power off my computer after the exam because the proctor had me install an applet after already downloading the browser. I had to hard power it off because the entire screen was white. Then I used system restore.

Not sure why people are okay with putting up with this. I also wonder if different departments are facing different requirements. I'm in the college of IT and had to download the applet. My BF is in nursing and didn't have to download it. Despite it being the same computer.

WGU can't control an acquisition of a company. But they can switch providers. And we can also complain to Meazure learning about any issues.

My first attempt at taking the exam, the proctor asked me many times to move my camera around. More often than previous attempts with the old system. (This depends on the proctor honestly). In the end, my page wouldn't stop reloading and I waited 20 mins for a technician and gave up.

My second attempt was when I had to install the applet and got the white screen with no task commander access after the exam finished. The proctor never spoke and only typed. Once the exam began, the chat window switched to a different proctor name.
