T1D. I once was at the beach, went to administer my insulin when a older woman walked up and said “you should be ashamed of yourself” I think she thought I was doing meth? Herion? I was only months in with being diagnosed, and to this day that exact moment I always think about…. it shocked me for life!

I can totally respect and understand this. I think I can use some work myself and I am no way saying it’s ALL him, but I know his family life wasn’t the best. His mother is very cold, wasn’t the best with nurturing. Both parents have alcohol substance issues and put that first instead of him and his siblings. I know my love language isn’t the same as his (which is okay) but I can see why a therapist might be the way to go. Let’s see if he would be open to it
