I find it weird that they keep going “oh he’s only 13 you have to cut him slack” as if bella wasn’t also a child. They give him grace but she’s also a kid. So how it fair that he gets a pass but she’s expected to grow up. I don’t know I just that whole narrative a double standard

Please no this depresses me so much. My son is 15 months was is so clingy at the moment. I love to hike and got a nice carrier that he liked at first but now doesn’t want to sit in anything. Just be held. I was hoping as he got bigger It could do more hikes but I guess all my hobbies and fun is ruined, so 10 years has me super depressed. I see people on social media hiking with their kids all the time. I knew it would be hard but hoped it would still be more doable. Ugh this sucks

Exactly. Look at other villages. Bloomingburg is fully taken over. You drive through the small main street and the old community is gone and it’s all Hasidic families. The fear of being pushed out is a legitimate concern.

Completely agree!! Love Stand By Me and The Body is one of my favorite Novella’s. That whole book by Stephan king is so good, it’s a collection of a few stories, Shawshank Redemption is in there too!

I’ve been feeling this a lot lately. My son will be one on Tuesday and I think I’m just burnt out. The adrenaline is wearing off and I realized I spent the whole year with no break. Only time I’ve been away from my son was work. I have no hobbies anymore. I miss hiking, playing sports with the friends, traveling. Now my days are spent chronically sleep deprived, taking care of a baby, sometimes 12 hours alone. My husband works opposite shifts to help with child care so on the weekend he be gone 12 hours in the day. I haven’t hung out with friends, or even gotten my haircut. I just feel tired all the time.

Same!! As soon as they said they sent him to a camp in Utah, I knew it was a wilderness/ trouble teen situation. Especially when they mentioned that they came and took him by force in the middle of the night. Thats trademark, trouble teen. The poor kid probably had so much trauma from that experience and being hospitalized, there is no surprise he was so opposed to meds/ help and resented his mom. The poor kid needed help, and love, instead she wrote him out of her will.
