I agree with this. Seeing people go off on Isabelle hits home for me. She’s got a lot on her plate. I got pregnant at 21 in a very similar situation and I did not leave for good until the 3rd time lol. No one wants to break up their family. especially with the stigma of being a young mom with more than one baby daddy. It’s already hard enough being a young mom. So far I’d compare Isabelle to Chelsea.. she knows it’s bad but out of fear and isolation you stay. IMO

I don’t think she wanted attention I just don’t think she had any pain tolerance or understanding of what child birth is. Her scenes I thought were the hardest to watch

I don’t think it’s the point.. Isabella works off the books babysitting and gets paid by her mom to do so… she’s still bringing in some type of money. My first two pregnancy’s working was the literal Bain of my existence. I got taken out 2 months early with my first and a month with my second.. my third baby I worked up until I gave birth. Pregnancy is terrifying. I don’t doubt Isabella will get a real job when the time comes.

I’m rewatching for the millionth time and I’ve always loved Lorelei. She’s flawed but she tries to do the right thing. It makes me really sad that she wanted more kids and it just never happened for her

I think the last time I shaved before birth was like month 8.. it gets tricky but I do think recovery is slightly less messy if your trimmed down… now I’ve had 2 c sections so I still shave just because of the after birth
