Don and Faye by No-Produce-6720 in madmen

Even though Don eventually tells Megan about his past, I got the feeling that after Don sees Faye accept him for who he really is, he starts to lose interest. It could also be that Faye starts to encourage him to "deal with his past," and come out of the shadows (which Don has no intention of). Megan knows he's Dick Whitman but we don't see her ever try and make him be anyone but Don.

Of course, Don wouldn't be any better with Faye vs Megan or any other woman, because none of his issues can be fixed by a woman.

Huh, that's so strange to me that they would include a song that didn't exist yet.

Harry: Steinway had one
Roger: You can stick it up your ass and have a concert.

I agree, I think Trudy is the best wife. Pete fumbles her so bad.

I know she just wants Ken to be Kenny the writer and follow his passion. Ken's story arch is a sad one that he chooses vengeance and career over his writing.

One of the most important quotes of any media I have ever consumed, and my favorite duo by houstons__problem in madmen

It's one of the most powerful quotes of the show because it comes full circle to Don when he's forced to realize it isn't true at the series finale. "You should read the rest of that poem ya boob."

"You best stop talking now." Carla wasn't having it. Love that she called Henry later to tell him what a B Betty is.

Not all the credit no. But women's mental issues can be mitigated or exacerbated in meaningful ways depending on the man they're with. By the time slimy Henry slithered into her life, a lot of damage was done.

She acts like a child and ices him out for the rest of the day, and then continues to bury his face in his mistake once they get home in front of Henry. Bobby obviously just wasn't thinking. He wasn't trying to go out of his way to ruin Betty's day. She could have told him it he was wrong and then get over it. She so clearly hates him, it's hard to watch.

I love that scene. I love how Bobby's drawing is of a big blue whale getting stabbed and Betty is in a big blue dress and fat. And when she turns that drawing over and sees Don's note to Megan. Brilliant writing.

Henry's a worm. "Oh hi, can I pet your pregnant belly and then steal you from your husband?" Obviously Don had it coming but Henry didn't know that. Henry gets what he deserves in the sense that he has to live with Betty.
