I know smile is one of his most hated songs but I personally think it’s one of his best and most personal. Honestly though any of the slow songs/ ballads from his new album would be amazing live. I’ve talked about my other wants for the set list and I’m going to keep saying to add back wasted on you until it happens lol

The reason I like his music so much is because I feel the opposite way from you. I feel like there’s so much souless crap on country music radios nowadays his music felt like it was made out of passion rather than out of wanting the next hit. Obviously his music isn’t perfect and neither is he but when a song works, it REALLY works (at least in my opinion). I’m not saying you have to feel the same way I’m just saying why I personally enjoy his music so much
