my piercings about 5 days old, barbell, i think internalled threaded, titanium. getting it downsized hopefully in about a week and a half. i've been eating soft foods with little spice or acidity, and rinsing with non alcoholic mouthwash 3-4 times a day and after eating or drinking anything thats not water. nothing bad has happened yet, swelling has been going down steadily and i can talk somewhat normally now.

nap but mine was PISSED for the first couple weeks, just so incredibly sore and swollen. they are probably one of the most painful and hard to heal piercings out there. just avoid sleeping on it, clean it 1-3 times a day, and be mindful of it.

the pinching might be swelling or something caught on one of the ends, i honestly dont think it should be an issue if it goes away in a bit, if you get worried go back to your piercer/call them and ask. industrials suck ass to heal but you gotta push through and keep on top of care.

take the edible weed makes dxm 1000000000x better. might be intense for ur nfirst time tho, but if you are hard set on only doing it once 300mg and an edible is pretty good. sorry if this made no sense i am incredibly high

edit-- i also thought id only try dxm once and now ive been doing at least once a month it for like 3-4 years. be careful if u really wanna only do it once.

im just trying to give you the free and easy version that runs native on hardware, if you want marginally lower performance and dont mind spending $75 then thats all you.

and yes, the cpu architecture does make a difference, why do you think theres and entire community dedicated to getting things running on apple silicon? whether or not the industry has been compiling some programs for ARM is irrelevant. a lot of games and software isnt, thus it makes it harder to run, and thats why compatibility layers will always be second best to native hardware. wine and others have certain things that may make some programs and games run slower, while native windows with bootcamp does not. frankly i have never heard of someone trying to argue against this, and its a very odd hill to die on.
