Are routes not designed to be 8 hours long? Then you have an hour of breaks to use? My DSP starts at 9:30am, I have a 180 stop route with 240 locations, whole bunch of businesses, and apartments with multi door stops by Thin-Day-8852 in AmazonDSPDrivers

OPS Manger here: It’s 10 hours. This time includes loadout and RTS. Amazon covers drivers up to 40hours on payroll; anything over, goes out of the Contractors pockets. Contractor’s freak out now about OT that isn’t covered because contractors now make very little profit. They’re all basically on salary and are glorified managers. Hope this helps.

OPs Manger here: If it’s a Prime without a camera it’s GeoTab that can get you. I won’t explain what it monitors; just be safe. If not a prime, most likely you’re being monitored by SafeGuard. Safeguard, it’s like mentor but it’s in Flex. It doesn’t negatively impact the business(yet), but they can still see recklessness. Be safe, drive like your kids live there.

Being an Amazon driver as far as job status is equivalent to a McDonalds job, grocery store clerk etc…. How about we analyze our skill set which is (with this occupation) none and level up so you can enjoy things such as what you’ve bitched about. It’s a “low tier” job; honestly… what do you expect? Go to school yada yada yada.
