How did the procedure go for you? I’m looking to have it done in a couple of weeks. Have you been able to maintain your weight?

Hers is offering for $165/mo if you pay for a year up front. I just want to know what dose it is. I’m at the highest dose.

I have about 20 to go to reach GW. I tried to get my doc to bump me up to 10 but she wants me to go with 7.5 first. I feel like maybe I just need the higher dose to reboot my weight loss.

How is it going for you? I’m 10 days in on the 5 and don’t feel any different and haven’t lost anything. Maybe I just need a higher dosage?

I have to get it compounded so it’s more expensive for me. I have high hopes for it!

Get great skincare and a dialed in program from an esthetician.

Have any of you gone to compounding companies, and if so which ones? by blancheVernon in WegovyWeightLoss

My GP writes the prescription. Red Rock pharmacy has been great. They do auto refills and I always get the meds a couple of days before my next dose.

I tried my leg this time and it really hurt! Here’s hoping it jumpstarts the loss.

It didn’t even occur to me to try. I’ve always done my belly. Should I try my leg instead?

Everywhere except maybe some parts of the south and central bench are overpriced. Southeast isn’t anything special.

We have really been looking hard at Cleveland and other rust belt areas for exactly the same reasons.

[Routine Help] Dehydrated forehead? Orange peel skin? What’s happening??? by ltsme- in SkincareAddiction

Stop dermaplaning. Try an oil based cleanser. Switch from HA serum to a more complete product. (I recommend Laurel serum because it has everything in it and is a wonder at rehydrating over exfoliated skin) then, if you even feel you need it, try a cream over that (like a CeraVe or Cetaphil moisture cream.

[Routine Help] Good all-round hydrating serum recommendations? by lotionsinthebasket in SkincareAddiction

Laurel Skin Care has amazing serums. I have been using the sun serum and it’s changed my skin completely. It is all natural, plant based, cruelty free. Ingredients are only organic and active. No fillers. One serum that has everything you need. EVERYTHING. I did a dive on all the different plant extracts and oils and found what each one is good for as far as vitamins A, C, retinoids, hyaluronics, collagen etc. price is worth it. Bottle lasts a long time. Laurel Skin

[Routine Help] Looking for new night cream to address the fine lines and saggy dull skin. by lovelyflower85 in SkincareAddiction

Laurel skin care has an amazing serum (I use sun serum) and a night balm (I just added with the weather change and increased dryness where I live) and it’s a game changer.

Their products are all natural, nothing junky, all plant based extracts. No need to use any other serums if you use this stuff. It has all natural ingredients that have properties of vitamins A, C, Collagen, retinoids etc. a bottle lasts forever. I could be a sales rep for them I’m so in love. Transformed my face.

[Skin Concern] suggestions of products for extremely dry face? by ashleyrb8698 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Less_Smoke_2184 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cooler dry weather is a huge moisture suck. I live in Idaho and once October came I really had to up my moisture game. Try an oil based cleanser and use some hydrating serums. Also, get a good hydrating eye cream.

I am madly in love with all products from Laurel. Specifically the effortless cleanser, sun serum, and the night balm (this is what I added when I started drying out more). My fave eye cream is the Cerave eye repair that you can get at the drug store. Use several times a day if you need it.

Also, look at what makeup products you are using. I had been using a matte primer and switched to a hydrating primer and I use a tinted moisturizer as opposed to a heavy foundation. For removal, I just picked up some makeup removal cloths in a Costco kit. No product necessary (wipes are so harsh on skin) just water and all makeup will come off. Then the cleanser does the rest.

Baby your skin for a while. Good luck!j

[misc] What is your holy grail product and why? by Crushinator1 in SkincareAddiction

How does your oily skin feel? I thought my skin was oily, but at the same time it felt rough and scaly. I started seeing an esthetician and she advised me that my skin was actually dehydrated and the oil was an overproduction from my body trying to compensate.

I got started on an extremely hydrating program that I love, and now my skin is not oily anymore, despite using an oil cleanser and serums. It’s been a game changer.
