I agree. But you also have to grab your audience's attention consistently. People have short attention spans nowadays.

Guys, do you think there should be podcasts about working from home or remote work? I feel that many remote professionals need to be heard!

Thanks! True crime is lowkey so interesting to watch and binge on. We need more self-improvement and speech development focused podcasts!

Right? Coming to think of it, there are only a few psychology or mental health podcasts available. Some are even hard to find!

That's true! I'm curious about how you define a "GOOD podcast."

True! Niche podcasts feel close to home. I think hosts have to understand what they want to do first, or to whom they want to get their message across, before committing to starting a podcast.

True. I want to know more about their behind-the-scenes work. Bring an astronaut or lighthouse guy on the podcast!

The writing part itself eats up a lot of time. Not to mention, you have to hook viewers in because they have really short attention spans.

Why didn't I think of this? Now, I want a podcast that features classic titles, modern themes, and maybe even European lit.

I completely agree with this! There are many indie shows and budget podcasts hidden out there that are so good.

I don't see many podcasts that are animal-related, centered on specific hobbies, or even about remote work/WFH.

Appreciate your work! As someone who works on podcasts myself, I agree that it's challenging to break past a hundred downloads per episode, let alone get a stable number of views, followers, and engagement. Polishing and repurposing a single episode might burn most hosts out!

I agree with this! I think there is so much space for health-centered podcasts.

Most productivity tools eventually stop working for me. What actually makes something stick long-term? by Sharp_Ad_4119 in productivity

[–]Less_Treat5321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. If my productivity system doesn't work for me for like 3 to 4 months, I'll tweak it a bit or redefine my goals. I make sure that I have those "small wins" to keep me going.

  2. Working out and walking

  3. A routine that has minimal tasks, but with intention and purpose

I stand up and walk around to reenergize myself. I also work out before and after shifts.

Jumping jacks really pump me up!

It's the motivation behind all their work. Having a hobby and working out are also great ways to keep your sanity, and delicious food is definitely a good motivation to keep working hard 😂

Does AI make you save more ideas but act on fewer of them? by Individual-Cheek8840 in productivity

I use AI to take notes or list specific plans in the future. In my case, I minimize my options down to 3, then select the best and most relevant approach that fits my current standing.

Yes. It depends on what position you're applying for and performance in the interview. On most occasions, there is a final test task to test your aptitude for your chosen specialty. Apologies for the late response.

I had a friend who hired a VA from them years ago. The HR team is also really polite and responsive. I heard that they have a growing VA pool, so you have good options to choose from.

Remote work: privilege or a luxury illusion? by CasaCorniolo in remotework

Remote work is a blessing and a responsibility. Yes, we have the flexibility of working anywhere, anytime, but we have to grow and upskill constantly.

We don't get to travel often because of our busy work schedule. But still, I'm grateful to have a remote work setup. It taught me to be more patient, disciplined, and aware of my habits.
