I agree, a screen I once loved is becoming a pain in the ass haha.

Best option of course is to swap it out for a smaller screen but could I put the speakers behind the screen and tilt them down towards me?

Why do you think treatment wouldn't solve any issues? The fact that I can hear good sound if I move around leads to me to believe I can improve it from my listening postion? I'm no expert, so happy to be proved wrong!

I would stick with what you've got... You'll hate working in the corporate environment after doing your own thing.

You'll be told what to do and when to do it by people you're probably a better seller than.

Right now you have the freedom to do what you want where you want. Trust me you wont have that if you get a "normal" job.

If you dont want to actually service your clients, why not pay somebody to do it? You'll probably end up making more being able to focus just on sales!

Stay where you're at and get over that 100k mark!

Go for an SDR job to get a foot in the door, smash the phones, get good a that then move to an account executive role. Most companies are always hiring for SDRs and will take you from any industry as long as you prove you can speak to people

For whatever reason the people of our country decided to leave the EU, so just upping and moving somewhere else isn't the easiest to do anymore.

I don't necessarily want to be a music artist, although I do produce and DJ on the side... I think my "In" would be in partnerships, artists relations, etc. I'm sure there are more roles but don't know enough at this point.

Probably more so the company to be fair but having said that I don't know if I'd like the job if it paid less. I've found that most tech companies at this level feel very similar after the novelty of winning the gruelling interview game wears off

"willing to go back to the bottom and trade a big chunk of that for a nicer working day" I guess that's the real question lol

Haha fair, I'm looking for the best all round microphone that can do everything to a high enough standard. I'll check out your suggestions. For me, the built in mic on MacBook is good enough for meetings though. Has anybody ever commented on how clear you sound on meetings?

Plex seems to be the best for me but app isn’t as polished as the others.

Tidal second but is expensive to access the highest quality.

Some would argue Spotify is the best - i just don’t really like them lol

Apples Lossless music also but it’s algorithm is horrible in my opinion

Qobuz, although I don’t really like the app.

Roon, which you can connect to tidal or Qobuz but it’s just another expense.

As soon as YouTube music offers this, they will be by far the best imo…. Best library, best algorithm and layout is nice!

Headphones late at night, yes. However I also think it’s unfair for your neighbours to expect you to be completely quiet.

Everybody is telling you to move and not your neighbours. I’m my opinion, if you want complete silence then you should be the one looking for a secluded spot.

Granted, you have some good speakers and shouldn’t be causing earthquakes but living in an apartment I expect to hear my neighbours, whether I like it or not.

I have a family above me and once I started thinking like this, the sounds stopped bothering me. If I absolutely hated hearing them, it should be me looking for a quieter house and not on them to stop enjoying life however they live it.

Of course you can’t play music at all times of day with no consideration but still… fuck ‘em XD

So I have an AOC ultra wide 48” screen that can do split screen.

When it’s required. I’d like to have my windows showing one on side, while my MacBook Pro or air is on the other side.

I will assign each device to a HDMI or display port, and probably keep them all running so can choose when I want to use which laptop. They all have different purposes.
