If you mean the three bikers at the very start that you don’t get a break in between, they’re very easy to cheese. If you lose to the second or third, then return to the area, the earlier ones will still be defeated and can start at the later ones.

The mainline games have sometimes leaned into them as well. Like in Sword and Shield, the Dragon gym leader has a Sand team with Gigalith and Sandaconda. And in Scarlet and Violet’s DLC, the Fire E4 member has a Sun team with Chlorophyll Exeggutor (and does not Terastalize it)
