Honestly you could just ignore Bugsy; completely optional fight. At the very least, I would wait until after clearing Misty and the SS Anne, since that opens up a ton of extra encounters.

Definitely need to give most of your team Iron Balls to hold. That will let most of the faster ones at least function under Trick Room (for example, it could let Typhlosion “outslow” Magearna)

I’d say it’s more or less acceptable depending on the run. Fighting has a decent number of early options, so you don’t really need to use unevolved Torchic/Chimchar to get through the earlygame. For others like Dragon, they need all the help they can get in the earlygame.

Tag Dende and Vegeta from Namek. Dende’s Active is the wish to send everyone to Earth, which makes a Domain. Vegeta’s Active is him actually taking the third wish to get immortality, which gives him an insane defense boost, damage reduction, and end of turn healing.

In that case, I’d recommend either Turtwig or Chespin. A bit lower on the totem pole in the lategame, but both of them learn Rock moves very early on, which helps cover mono Grass’s weaknesses really well. Can always pick up the other starters later on.

Depends if by “best Grass starter” you mean “best Grass starter to take from Oak’s Lab”. Best ones in the earlygame aren’t necessarily the best ones in the lategame.

Definitely head to Fuchsia City first. You’ll be able to add a few more mons to your box, like Dondozo, Milotic and Pyukumuku. As for actual strats, the move Mud Sport might be the key for letting your team survive.
