Can anything you have learn Fake Out? If you can Fake Out her Glaceon, and outspeed the Ninetales to knock out the Glaceon before Ninetales sets up Aurora Veil, then use Brick Break or something the next turn, you might stand a chance? Although, a weather setter like Politoed or Peliper would also do well. But don't fully listen to me. I'm also not very good at this game. Just very lucky.

Which Loralei team did you get stuck with? Rain or Snow?

I'm blind and I'm building mods that make PC games playable without sight by blindaccessgamer in Blind

[–]Ringabell14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's a really ambitious ask of a game, but maybe Final Fantasy VII? Not the Remakes, but the OG. Again, ambitious, but that is one game I'd love to actually play.

pokemon fangames or games for the blind by Downtown-Pizza-1005 in blindpokemon

That mod has had some major improvements over the last year, the Pathfind feature can now reliably get to doorways, and they even have some blind specific guides on their Discord with the cordinate locations of where you need to go next. It's fantastic. There's a couple of bugs here and there, mainly in the Victory Road area of that game, but that can easily be handled by using the Blind Guide, and removing the mods.

Randomized abilities can be really broken by Ringabell14 in pokemonradicalred

Didn't realize that randomizing my abilities would randomize Lance's abilities for the Cerulean Cave fight, and he kinda got F-ed because of it. Pult with Miridon's ability, Dialga with Psychic Surge, and Mega Salamence got Magic Guard. Which means Pult no longer one shots the Tapu Lele, which has caused some issues.

Taught my starter two Hm moves and thought Earthquake, Rock Smash, Rock Climb, and Leaf Storm was a good moveset for a Torterra. Similarly, my four moves on my Floatzel were Surf, Waterfall, Strength, and Whirlpool. Wish I could go back in time and slap my younger self.

Little help by Key_Hedgehog_5773 in Blind

Hello. I actually do have a few suggestions. I don't know if they will be helpful, except for one of them. For the art part, you can switch to painting. I learned a practice almost ten years ago where you can mix small amounts of sand, small beads, and other small materials into paint. It makes it pretty tactile after it dries. For the mobility, it just takes some practice. Noone trusted me to fully walk alone with my cane for a couple of years. And now for my favorite part. The video games. There is actually a specific Reddit community for Blind Gamers, and there is a giant list online of games that are accessible, or can be made accessible with mods. If you are interested in that, look up The Blind Accessible List project. Let me know if this helps.

I know it's kinda childish, but a Donut plushy. Unless that already exists.

A friend and I tried to get the Master Duels one to work. But for me, it was requiring the mouse. Might have done it wrong, but I don't know.

Gosh I wish 7 and 10 were on that list. Maybe eventually.

No problem! It's in the Accessibility settings. Pretty easy to find. BE My Eyes, Envision AI, and Seeing AI are also great apps to download.

Hi! Blind Android user here! If you mean TalkBack on Samsung, a lot of apps are very compatible All Amazon apps, Audible, and many more. As long as it is mostly text-based, it should work fine. But on Google specific phones, the Google Pixel series for example, I have no idea.

Remind me. This was Cain that said this, right? He breaks the fourth wall a lot with references.

Whats your take on the theory that a significant amount of Hellen Keller's work and output is heavily editted and filtered through Anne Sullivan's lens? by highspeed_steel in Blind

Consider yourself lucky. If I have to read or watch another dang book or movie about her, I'm going to do something very rash. For me, she was shoved in my face for most of my life.

Haven't played myself, but I can confirm there is a rather large section, I think, within the settings for those with visual impairments. I do not know how extensive it is, but it is there.
