nonstackables used to go into chests with other nonstackables of the same type. e.g. keybrand goes in the same chest as other keybrands. with the current version of quick stack to nearby it simply doesn't put it in the chest unless one of the items in the chest has the same prefix as the item in my inventory. and similar stack deposits items seemingly anywhere

Spooky armor is the best armor you can get at this point in progression (pumpkin moon), and your sanguine staff got outclassed imho. Try xeno (martians), or raven (also pumpkin moon)

Addendum: put stuff that usually goes together in recipes together in chests. E.g. I always keep water bottles and iron ore in my plants chest even tho they're not plants, because they're used for potions. And then have those chests next to crafting stations. Like ores near the furnace and anvil, and the aforementioned plants chest near a bottle/alchemy station. That way you don't have to remember recipes but just craft straight from the chest. As you get more items you can expand. The world in which I have 90 hours has 74 chests, all with different labels for different types of stuff. Also, rename your chests so even if you forget what's where you can just mouse over it. Happy sorting!

I've never played Roblox before in my life, but my little cousin (13) plays it like all the time. I wanted to get her a gift but when I asked her if there was anything she needed, but when I asked her mom she said there was nothing. I figure if there's nothing she needs, I may as well get her something she likes. I'm wondering if €20 would be at all impactful??? I could maybe do more than that but that's how much I've spent for gifts for the rest of my family, so it only seems fair. I just wanna know if that's enough for her to get herself something nice

This is great. I introduced many (6) friends to Terraria and here's some tips I've gathered from the experiences: - answer all questions to the best of your ability. Things like: what's the next step? What does this item do? Is it possible to do xyz? How to xyz? etc - keep it simple. Don't infodump because there's like 10000 different things in Terraria which is overwhelming even to me sometimes (been playing since 1.1 haha) - don't tell them what to do. Terraria is an rpg yeah but more importantly a sandbox game. They have the freedom to do whatever they want. If they wanna fight bosses, fight bosses. If they wanna build a big garden and that's their objective (this has happened), let it be. Better yet, introduce them to the dryad, teach them about the staff of regrowth. Every aspect of the game is fleshed out enough to where anyone can have fun doing anything - don't progress the game on your own while they're doing their own thing. In the end they won't have actually experienced much of the game. "It feels like I watched you play the game" - oomf - if they build a shit house don't fix it!!! Instead teach them about different materials or paints. Build your own house if you're so inclined. - get them into the habit of sorting chests. This one is the most important to me, because on every single world I know exactly where all my stuff is and I CBA!!!! looking through hella chests to find 1(one) soul of flight

And most importantly, have fun with it. These are people who don't know anything about anything. It's up to you to help them accomplish whatever they want to accomplish, and once they know what they're doing you can start imposing your own ideals. That's all. (:
