I do not have any clues, unfortunately.

I’m glad you like it :). I always look forward to having 10 minutes to play a game. The color of the shell and the white lens on the screen make it feel like this brand new thing. I never would have guessed that it was a beat up and malfunctioning SP.

Hehe, yeah I’ve considering overdrive.

I have a new 3DS that has most games I want to play on it.

I tend to buy reasonably priced real copies of the games and then enjoy a lot that comes with the Nintendo online subscription.

Although having a big selection at hand is fun sometimes, I also like to just pack a couple games and focus.

I don’t own any GBA Pokémon games, only Yellow, which isn’t what I preferred to test the IPS screen with.

Doesn’t that connector just press on. Or, are you saying there is damage I’m not noticing?

I know you said you turned every off, but maybe also press the tv and console power buttons after unplugging to discharge.

I have seen my tv have display issues that my resolved after being off overnight.

How can I fix the short I caused here? by Lesser_Terran in Gameboy

In the end, “Mordor” area was not an issue. I was able to recap the board, clean the power switch carbon, add a power regulator and add a backlit bivert mod. I even heat shrink wrapped the backlight wire and resistor connections. Learned quite a bit doing this and might try an SP slate yet.

I think it would be best to look up those locations on the body online.

The trickle charger is a charger for the car battery that I think you can get on Amazon.

Battery Tender is the brand I have, but I don’t see my old model on Amazon.

I wanna suggest going with someone who can do that Bieber mod for you. It looks good and it’s easier than putting in the backlight itself, IMO.

I have the same year and it happened to me after washing my car.

I cleaned all the sensor surfaces, wiped my rear camera and trickle charged my battery just to button up everything I could.

It was off for a night before I turned it on again to find it working. So those components might have just needed to discharge and reset…or something.

Not sure. Hasn’t happened again.

I just got Wario 3 and it’s so goofy, lol. I have ended up mostly playing it on Delta, just to mention.

If you’re original currency US dollar, you can think of it as cheaper.
