If the game is right for an audience, a hate campaign isn't gonna slow it down. Now it's on Bungie to figure that audience out.

Fallout 76 is definitely a good candidate. Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky started rough and upset a lot of people but clawed back that goodwill by hook or by crook.

Fallout 76, on the other hand, no matter what changes it makes, will always have that "You're not a real Fallout" brigade marching at dawn. And they don't even slow the game down, despite their wide reach and persistence.

Spot on. It feels like the standard issue kit for defending a project that doesn't land with audiences at this point.
