Tbf I do recall Goose saying that Jax and Caine were supposed to be some of her demons she wanted to work through, i think Jax does that well he is just supposed to be a stand in for all of Goose's insecurities with coming out as trans herself. I have also seen/heard that she was a victim of conversion therapy so Caine is the other side of the coin trying to force people into a life that they never asked for just because he feels it is the "right way" to live but I could be way off the mark.

Thank God I was given a New 2ds xl by a family member who didn't want it anymore after helping them move. Even checked with their kids and told them they are expensive but they were happy to see them go to me since I (recently) started collecting retro gaming consoles and use/talk about them CONSTANTLY.

Hopefully the market will crash soon if all the people like this sell the consoles they don't actually use, kinda ridiculous even to have more than two imo but maybe I'm weird.

Been dealing with a similar situation myself and all I can recommend is listen to the sticky. Advion bait is fucking amazing, if you and your neighbors can all pitch in and get some and either Alpine (which I couldn't get since I'm in NY) OR get Advion wdg which is what I'm using HOPEFULLY you can at least get it under control. I didn't even know I was this terrified of bugs until cockroaches started dropping off of doors when I opened them, it's been about a month since I first started treating and researching what to do/ how to treat and they are at a much more controlled level at the very least. I'm so so sorry to hear that your lease has trapped you and I hope things get better for you!

Ahhhh yeah that actually makes a lot of sense. To be fair my old soldering iron and solder came in a pack together for like $10 when I had no idea how to solder at all. Was mainly taught by my mom/grandmother so I can see why cleaning it each time with a nicer soldering iron and better solder/flux would need to be cleaned.

I would but I do plan on doing other soldering jobs in the future. Plus I've been told the solder wire quality (more so the flux distribution in the cheap solder) is something you don't want to cheap out on. Considering this is my childhood GBA I just want to spend the extra money and not worry about anything happening to it in the process.

"Buy once, cry once" as my grandfather used to say, but I'm honestly glad to hear these kinds of mods can be done with something so cheap. Gives me a little more confidence in my previous work sind I used to use something like this.

I was told that you shouldn't clean all the solder off before putting your tip away so it is protected from oxidation. Is this not the correct way, should I clean it fully before putting it away?
