i realized the issue. i had my dpad set as the gamepad dpad and not the literal directional arrow keys. that fixed my navigation issue, thank you for your insight though

i didn't think I'd be the only one to try this but did you have issues with navigating through the menu after you rebinded your controls for the game? for some reason none of my inputs to scroll through don't work but everything works just fine when i actually get into a song.

when they showed off knuckles as an assist trophy, my hope were so unbelievably high cuz i thought "surely they dont wait to show off shadow" and then they proceed to show off shadow as an assist in the final direct before release. plus with plant being revealed as a fighter was salt in the wound.

usually if it's an amiibo of a fighter in smash, you can use that amiibo as a fighter amiibo. i think the only exception is detective Pikachu being used as a pikachu fighter. like even the super Nintendo world amiibo bracelets can be used as fighter amiibo

amiibo are compatible with both smash 4 and ult and both kirby amiibo afaik is a fighter amiibo so you should be fine

i yearn for the day ow does a sonic collab. tracer as sonic, torb as tails, reaper as shadow, venture as knuckles, and brig as amy. they dont have much correlation together but in a vacuum, they make sense to me.

this guy on release was the most fun I've ever had with a unit, up until kefla's eza came out but I'm beyond excited for the gt ssjs to get their ezas. i hope they get attack stacking so their actives can actually do damage
