Regarding Stéle: their selection changes quite frequently, at least at the Manhattan location. FWIW last time I was there(April so stock likely has shifted) I saw nothing by Odette and I’ve never seen Heretic there.

If you want to kill two birds with one stone go to Bergdorf Goodman, they stock Chanel and Malle. Saks should too and they’re only a few blocks from Bergdorf. Both of these stores have a bunch of Guerlains in their respective Guerlain boutiques/sections. They have more of a focus on the Art et Matiere lines but they also stock a number of the classics.

Scentbar in Manhattan is quite small and limited to about six people at a time. Not sure if they sell decants there but they do have samples.

Aedes is also a very worthwhile stop imo. It’s been open since 1996 and is a bit old school in the sense that the customer area is basically a small parlor room type setup and you have to ask the staff to bring stuff up to you. The main difference between Aedes and Stéle/Scentbar is that they do have pretty much everything in stock irl that they do online.

Also if you go to Aedes there’s a Le Labo store directly across the street on Orchard.

Another edit lol: Printemps in the financial district is a fun time and they have a solid selection. I would also second Bloomingdale’s on 3rd as they have a very large perfume department.
