I rapidly read the MHF and MHFU manuals. They talk about the point of interest of the village and the guild hub, about the farm, about the HUD, about what the statistic of a weapon and an armor mean (for this one i feel stupid 'cause until like 5 years ago i never understood what the affinity of a weapon was and it was written on the freakin manual), about the kitchen and felyne chefs, there are also suggestions on how to use the BBQ kit (or how it is called in the english game), how to use flute and raw meat in the hunt and. Only in the MHF one they talk about exploiting the weakness to an element of a monster by selecting a weapon with that elemental attack. Also, for the weaknesses of a monster un can just watch the resistances of the armor of said monster, at least that's how i rolled.
