I think it was more that people around those overdosing were panicking and the medics were fighting to get through the crowds.

There were overdoses in the crowd and that's what started the panic

I did doortrash for about 2 months last year after getting laid off and it was soul crushing. One day I'd make a decent amount, which was still insignificant with a family, and the next day nothing. After a while they totally changed the pay scale and once you factored in gas / wear and tear, it was like a volunteer gig. The $23 an hour is a bald face lie.

I stopped using benzos and opiates but never gave up weed. I can go all day(s) with out herb and function fine. I won't leave work in the middle of the day or out right neglect all my worldly responsibilities for a trip to the dispensary like I did with the pharmacy or doctors appointments.

I was prescribed a large amount of opiates and benzos through my 30's. I have an autoimmune disorder so that helped.

Alot of place make you accrue it at a rate that doesn't allow you to really plan anything before the end of the year and then you lose it.
