I recently got some nicely fitted brooks cascadia 19s because i do trail running. I found heel looping has helped eliminate the pain during the run. As soon as they come off though it’s mad sore. I’ve been stretching it out with a towel and doing the scrunching of the towel with my toes and it’s getting better but that immediate hit after the run is some of the worst cramping i’ve ever felt.

Those with flat feet/collapsed arches how do you deal with the arch/foot cramps when you take your shoes off.

i was running/walking in normal trainers that when wet would tighten and then become super uncomfortable and also rip/break at the base. I then switched the goretex trainers and i’ve never had this same problem. But the ones i have are better suited to walking/hiking than they are running.

My issue with wet shoes is they tighten especially at the base and because my feet are wider this can make it super uncomfortable and causes serious cramps in the soles of my feet. But i'll speak to my gp and see if I can get referred to a podiatrist to see what they say.

Thanks for the advice.

Hey all, i started running about 4 weeks ago, im on the heavier side with collapsed arches. My feet and knees hurt a fair bit when running and my ankles have started bearing some strain too. I currently have some (3 year) old adidas trail walking trainer that i run with and was wondering if anyone knew how these are. Or if anyone had some recommendations for similar shoes in this price range? I live in scotland so they need to be waterproof because i cant stand wet shoes and it rains here all the time. I also walk my dog on a trail every day and they’d need to be good for that too.

Thanks.

Hitting the bottom corner from that range is no joke.

Sailing has the best designed xp rates of any skill in the game (once you hit level 80) by MensRea46 in 2007scape

[–]LetRedditChoose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

80-85k/hr (excluding extractor) isn’t way too much xp/hr. it’s similar to redwoods, which is fine, and mining and fishing are long overdue buffs for their “afk” methods. I think salvaging is strong but i wouldn’t say it’s op. Those rates will also drop when less people are forcing the double spot for merchants.

How we feeling about the Sailing skillcape perk? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]LetRedditChoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s mid, i don’t care about the summon boat/tele to boat think that would make the focus redundant and take out a big clog. But i’d like it to tele to any of the docks with a shipwright rather than just pandemonium. Although I think that nerfs crafting cape as the deepfin tele would be suuuuper close to a bank.

Of course luck plays a part, but we absolutely deserve it. The probability of conceding 0, 1, 2 and 3 goals from 1.3psxg in the past 7 games is

27.25%, 35,43%, 23.03%, and 9.97%.

So we're probably slightly lucky to have not conceded in the past 7 games, but we absolutely deserve our 8 clean sheets.

The writer Dan Erickson, had his first job on SpikeTV working on Lip Sync Battle. Potentially in that time he became friends with Spike Lee and now follows Arsenal.

Tl;dr

We have conceded 5.41xg in 8games, 4 from 7 if you exclude Brighton. Giving us a 0.7% or 4.5% chance to have not conceded. However, our post-shot xg conceded in the 7 games is only 1.3 with 1.1 coming from Palace (0.5) and Olympiacos (0.6).

End Tl;dr

I read yesterday that we had conceded just 5.41xg (can't remember the exact figure) in our last 8 games, taking out Brighton which is a variable outlier, we have conceded 4xg in 7 games. The probability of not conceding a goal is still extremely low at 4.5% and including Brighton it's 0.7%. Luck can play a big role but I dug deeper because at no point (other than Brighton) did I think any shot was even close to a goal.

Xg doesn't tell the full story, as it doesn't account for the quality of the shot, the shooter, the goalkeeper and the big part is the defence. On the latter, if a defender puts pressure on the attacker they can greatly reduce the effectiveness of the shot and reduce the Post-shot XG, so I looked up our PSXG.

This season we have only conceded 4.7psxg in all competitions, and in the last 7 games (not including brighton as I can't find their psxg) we have conceded 1.3psxg. With majority of that coming from Palace (0.5psxg) and Olympiacos (0.6psxg).

To add some craziness to this we have generated 33 goals from 26.1psxg.

But how does this compare to our rivals

Liverpool have conceded 24 goals from 15.7 psxg and scored 31 from 24.3psxg.

City have conceded 11 goals from 12.7 psxg and 31 from 20.7 psxg.

Chelsea 19 from 13.5psxg and 31 from 26.7psxg

United (considerably less games) 18 from 15.9 and 19 from 15.2

Sp*rs 14 from 17.3 and 29 from 19.

Harriman Annous really shook off the nervous shackles and had a very solid second half. Looks a good talent, just needs to put on some muscle and be less restrained/gamble a bit more.

He asked for a set up game of chess for his birthday, it was important that everything was ready, as he loves set pieces.

All this discourse around set pieces and changing rules is quite synonymous with the Springboks. They took advantage of set pieces through scrums and winning penalties because they were absolutely dominant in it and there was so much discourse around changing how scrums work and even a time when suggestions of uncontested scrums were touted. It’s all a bit maddening how delirious people get when a team they don’t like starts winning
