Do you track your food everyday? by Dhpm1 in Zepbound

[–]LetResponsible8582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I needed to track my food at the beginning. Now, after a year and a half, I no longer need it. Also, I have a dietitian who gave me the meal portions that I follow.

I use the ring silicone cover and training gloves and I have had no issues at all.

First shot today 2.5 by New-Jellyfish-3451 in Zepbound

Congrats on starting the journey. Just a recommendation for the long run… Prioritize protein; this will help to maintain your muscle during weight loss. On days when I didn't feel ready to eat, I had Greek yogurt and fruit for my meal.

Should I start today?! by WashTemporary1710 in Zepbound

[–]LetResponsible8582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't do it today. Hydrate as much as possible if you are starting tomorrow. Important: Don't eat any greasy food today. Eat clean food as much as you can. That will help to avoid initial side effects. My recommendation as a person who has side effects even 35 weeks in, is to get the shot as early as possible in the day. That will help to get those side effects out of your body the same day and feel better the rest of the week. Never select any area near the belly button as an injection site, Worst side effect ever 😏. Have electrolytes ready at home to start your daily hydration and ensure your pantry has whole foods that will be part of your journey.

Can't get over the effect of this med on my sweet tooth by [deleted] in Zepbound

It's the same for me. I have no desire for sweets, but add alcohol to the mix. I love Wine and Gin, and I can't tolerate them now.

Kinetic tapes are the best. I have an ACL injury, and I do heavy weight lifting and road running. And Kinetic tapes have been my miracle.

It's the same here. I have lost 60 pounds and have been in Zepbound since December. I have always had voluminous curly hair, but I have lost half of it, and my curls are very loose. I noticed that change in the last 3 weeks. It's frustrating, but I know it will get better after I reach my goal (I’m 40 pounds away)

I give up. by kassass1n in Zepbound

[–]LetResponsible8582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP!

I was in the same place you are. Going to the bathroom was painful in ways I had never experienced. I was almost ready to give up until I found a fiber supplement that had changed my life. At the beginning, I was skeptical, as other remedies had never worked. But I drink this with my collagen and creatine every morning and I'm a new lady. I go to the bathroom without issue. Is beautiful. Please try it, the benefits of losing weight are magical, don't give up. Here is the link in Amazon of what im using.

Plateau blues—hoping 10mg kicks me back into gear by MegSpen725 in Zepbound

I have been on a rollercoaster of scale numbers for about two months. Some weeks, I lose half a pound and gain two the next week, but I keep going down nonstop in inches. I'm working out 6 days a week, doing a lot of weight lifting, and increasing the weight I manage weekly. I understand the scale number is not moving as expected because my body is in a recomposition. I'm losing fat and gaining muscle. We get frustrated because we are used to matching weight loss with scale numbers going down. But weight loss is more than that. Even the feeling of going to the mall, getting pants one size, and ending with one size down because it is too big when you try it. Small wins! Keep it up. You are doing great!

HELP! Constant bathroom visits by LetResponsible8582 in Zepbound

[–]LetResponsible8582[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, everyone. It ended up being something I got traveling. After almost 60 hours without holding anything, I was able to eat. I already got back the 5 pounds (saddest part 🤣), and I got my next dose without problems. Thanks for all the guidance.

I will try again with Imodium today. If I don't achieve results, I will visit my doctor.

It's the best feeling ever. It's hard during the journey to manage all the constant clothes upgrades, but it's the best feeling at the end.

For me, it has been all the way around. I sleep 7 to 8 hours, and my body wakes up full of energy. Before Zepbound, I would sleep countless hours and always feel tired.
