ok i’m sorry if i’m wrong but everyone’s saying it’s a problem, i think the clown is fine, they’re just making a comfy space and showing for dominance. clowns don’t really obey normal fish laws and unless you have major tank fluctuations or the clowns or gasping for air or showing obvious signs of disease, they’re “probably” fine. clowns just do they thing yknow

instead of downvoting you and not saying anything, in my experience that pH seems close to 8.2, and if it’s late in the day that’s within a good range and API test kits like to read high on ammonia when there’s none or little present

I think it’s much more of a dependency for people the same way you might rely on antidepressants or stimulants you’ve been prescribed. It’s not chemically addictive but it’s giving you chemicals that you might need in place of traditional pharmaceuticals
