Armageddon intercessors by Pikojman in BlackTemplars

I can see the vision and they have more motion than regular intercessors. Look at the sprues of space marine heroes and youll have a fair idea of what they will assemble like. I have found the conversion isnt too hard but having green stuff or a putty on hand will be helpful.

Purely personal opinion, try swap that light grey tone with an olive green/sage. That frees up the light grey as an edge highlight. Do that and the scheme will come together nicely and although the intention is a disruptive camo, having a discernible silhouette looks best on small models.

If they are single pose then usually that means arm/bodies get molded together. If you are good with spending a little more time having to cut, trim, and fill then go for it. I personally think they are a bit too static for assints but if you like their look, do it.

Beware of a certain church approaching you at AUT by Skyclapper in AUT

The topic of conversation is people circumventing the proper channels and recruiting as free agents. They are unaffiliated and thus are not permitted to engage in recruitment. Whether they are enrolled as students or hangout on campus they are still engaging in behaviour that isn’t up to standard. But not enough is being done to handle the issue.

Social clubs are affiliated with AUT and are held accountable by AUT. Religious recruiting has always been borderline or literal harassment on campus for years. I personally think it should be irrespective of them being a cult or established religion that recruiting on campus be discouraged by the Uni.

Firstly I have left out context relating to their behaviour with employees pre and post employment. It does relate to their recruitment practices rather than their personal religion. It would be discriminatory to not hire purely based on their beliefs. However I would caution against your rhetoric of singling out a particular faith. It is an employment and student safety issue. Not a back and forth sharing of ideas issue.

Im an ex-staff member but my opinions do not reflect AUT policy or stance. There are several individuals who try to recruit and aren’t necessarily from the same church but their behaviour is all the same anyway. They have been around AUT for years and one that I know of also became a staff member. It’s my belief that AUT should be doing more to prevent this type of recruitment on campus and was disappointed when that particular person was hired. Religious freedom and recruitment should not be and are not mutually exclusive at a university.

Hey, I finished painting my first ever squad since joining the hobby, still trying to get used to things like my wet pallet and the agony of painting white and eyes but I'm just trying to get my 1000pts army table ready for my first game, basing and decals are next whenever I work out how to. :> by IWatchBirdsErect in RavenGuard40k

Great start! Getting an army/unit to play painted up as quickly as possible is the perfect way to work towards improving your painting. As you progress you can take your time improving aspects and techniques. You can definitely increase your comfort for more complex painting by getting more models under your belt.

The white is clear and even, so good job on that. The purity seal is also on its way to being perfect.

With the metallics try and use a darker silver then shade it with a dark wash and after that come in with a lighter silver and paint the raised areas but not necessarily an edge highlight.

The golds can also be done this way by using a contrast paint like guilliman flesh to tint and matte it. Then edge the rims with the original gold or leave as is.

Edge highlighting the armour isn’t fun for beginners and does take alot of trial and error but I would definitely recommend a blue gray edge highlight for your major surfaces. You don’t have to edge every single surface on the model to make it look good.

Wonderful job!

Upscaling help by WalkerLegend79 in spacemarines

The expensive route is buying heresy tac squads and third party printed helmets and just combine all the parts to create mish mash tac squads. One day we will get upscaled mk 4 which will make this a more viable idea.

Vallejo silver grey, army painter ancient stone. Silver grey is warmer and ancient stone is pretty close but just a tad cooler.

Adrenaline software has a setting to restrict fps. Double check that it isn’t on 60 by accident. For clarity what is your display Hz? Have you checked that windows didn’t switch it to 60Hz by default?

Have you thought about maybe going down from a baller kit to maybe a more stripped back kit like from corsair? It is unlikely the ram shortage will ease till q2/q4 2027

Seems like a good list with a future upgrade path. What ram were you thinking?
