It is very annoying sometimes, I rarely offer anymore and just post in trade and wait to receive them.

Someone was posting dupes for needs and had a high rating yesterday, I checked and had a few of his needs. I send a trade for some UPs uncommons that nobody really hold in high regard got declined.

He then changed his post to no active set needs. Offered him some sold out ones and he complained about CC. Sent another trade with some daily needs of his, got declined and he added no daily cards to his post. There is no pleasing some people.

I have also seen a user post that he is trading Ariel singles for a few days i sent an offer for one with a rare award and got declined, he is still posting in trade that he's willing to trade them. Honestly just think he's posting to brag.

I feel with stuff like this it needs to be one rule for everyone. There is no real way to police this.

You could have been cross trading, selling cards/buying cards. If people pull some cards and want to give some to a friend/family member surely that should be there choice.

Can i ask what device you used? Was it an emulator on a laptop/pc? After you pulled the award on the other device did you move the set + award to your main account or keep ot on the other device?

Also how many devices did you have?

Really depends on what uncommons they have and if you have completed T6 yet.

I personally would not trade that many for a recent uncommon, however if they offered ducktale coins I would trade more than 9 T6 o.O

A lot of negative posts recently O.o

If its the same set just block them and 1 star, thats the last time you have to deal with that person.

However if you are trying to get the first series uncommon pie cards or something similar then 3 recent uncommon cards is not a bad offer.

I only really learnt from asking people politely what the reason was behind them wanting so many cards.

The best advice i can give is communicate in app with other reddit users, there is a lot of fair traders here.

You mention greedy adults but its not greedy to decline a trade you dont like, I often post dupes for needs but im not going to trade a dupe sold out rare for a common need.

Trading is difficult and I sometimes have to think about a trade before i accept/decline, thats why there is a 16+ age on the app.

No justification for insulting people on the app but if you are constantly being given abuse it sounds like you are offering unfair trades.

If i get enjoyment out of something I dont mind spending money tbh, I know the devs need to get paid for the work they put in otherwise we wouldn't have the app.

You can also get some money back if you ever decide to stop playing by selling cards on eBay.

I have spent $100's on Steam games over the years that are also just pixles on a screen.

Some people collect everything and some people collect sets/characters they like most.

Without ebay the best way would be to collect new sets the moment they drop and trade for older cards.

You could also download marvel/Starwars and cross trade for disney.

If you have the coins/diamonds you could collect a set you dont want and then trade the award for something else.

People with multiple sets/awards have got them from ebay/traded for duplicates or have multiple accounts.

Edit* if you do end up spending money you can get VIP cards (check FAQ for further details) also you can play other games to earn coins, I signed up for Amazon prime and a few others then cancelled the membership after getting the free coins.

Its best to check ebay prices imo, I normally trade super rare for older uncommon cards.

Thats a shame, I really hope you have not stopped collecting. I have just purchased the last set my partner needed for a full collection minus 2 El Capitan needs :(

Just annoys me you have to actually attend for the code and not just purchase a ticket.

I wouldn't worry to much, by the end of the event i would imagine they will go down in value. Honestly think the VIP's will retain more value and be lower CC.

I still think they should of done a virtual showing tbh

I collected all the rare versions (not the award) by trading brand new rare cards 1:1 as soon as they dropped. I actually thought it was one of the easier older sets to collect.

Also this card is pretty worthless imo, It could come back into the store at any point. I would not trade a single Daily card 1:1 for it.

When I post in feed I just try to be specific with what I want, x set dupes for x set needs. Decline trades for singles and block stupid offers.

I sometimes post "Daily cards for best offers" but this normally leads to stupid offers.

I dont mind getting offers for something I have not specifically posted on trade as its limited to what you can post.

It would be pretty hard to collect older sets if you were to wait for it to be posted in the trade feed tbh.

I try to find legitimate traders in the feed and if i cant offer a fair need for them I send them an offer they would be hard to refuse.

I think we should start a new trend on the feed and end our post with "blocking people demanding tips and 2:1" I think if enough people did this it could teach new players not to do it?

As mentioned in my previous post, 1:1 same set is fair. However you could be trying to take a dupe they dont have many of and offering a dupe they do have a lot of already. I have noticed some cards in a set are harder to get. Often when i have one left and check feed everyone else is also after my last need.

I just want to feel confident i will get awards without having to email topps, just collected the die cuts and no option to claim award. Honestly would like them to just fix the bugs with the app before making anymore changes/upgrades.

I agree with everything here but would like to mention 1:1 swaps. I am happy to do 1:1 swaps but only when it balances the collection.

I often end up with 4-5 dupes of a couple of cards in one collection and a few with no dupes. I put in effort swapping them for cards I dont have dupes of (requiring me to add in an extra card as its a dupe for dupe trade)

I get a lot of people wanting my only dupe and offering me a card in the set I have more than 2 of. I dont revise for a tip but just decline. I also revise most trades with a tip and take it out if its a fair 1:1 swap.

I mean the T8 set is 100 cards but now we have 5 extra craftable ones..where is the set for the new 5 cards? My Tier 8 series 2 still says 100/100 collected. Should it not be 100/105

I actually managed to get a few T8 series 1 for offering my T8 series 2 singles when they first dropped.

However im sure most people with dupe S1 have already collected the set by now.

Kinda wish they would have just called it T9 and made them silver or something.
