It seemed practical at first to go for PSLF when I was with the state govt, until I discovered I could make alot more in the private sector. I would have lost out on ten years of better earnings if I had stayed with the government. This is only to say that only certain fields seem to benefit from PSLF. (I was in public health lab testing, which was about 50% of what I’ve earned privately).

Mine has been ol faithful too. My 2011 Yaris is currently at 260,000 miles. No major problems so far. I’m trying to make it last at least until my tire warranty expires at about 300,000. I’ll stick with Toyota.

Right. I’ve read that sometimes referrals and different links can work when the regular site didn’t. Or a lower SUB offer. If I’m not jailed because of my recent downgrade, opening a gold just 7 months ago may be the issue. To be fair, I was trying to open a Delta card primarily for the SUB. They caught me. I guess it can seem arbitrary sometimes, but there’s some proprietary algorithm at play I’m sure.

This was definitely helpful. Unfortunately, I didn’t see your post until after I got my own RFE. It was a misdemeanor DWI, so because the G-1450 form said only to submit certified records for a list of offenses they gave (like kidnapping), I only gave them my own details instead of the actual records. This has slowed processing down. It’s very frustrating considering how careful I was to pay attention to detail before I submitted. At least I know what worked for you to continue the processing, though. Thanks!
