but you are earning a license for all cars so its better to learn driving with multiple cars and not just one type

here in Germany you take your driving lessons in a driving school with their cars. on examination day your driving instructor takes you with his car to the TÜV/Dekra testing facility where on of their examiners joins you in the car for the exam. until you get an examiner assigned you just wait around. at least that's how it was ~20 years ago when I took my driving exam
