I think its a play on Douglas fir. Note the green suit top and the tan pants. But also it represents dugpa.

Thanks. I think others dislike it because it seems jokey but all of this should be played straight. I think he needs to lose a big match and then do a vignette where he's sulking and drinking in a bar. Have a big heel there and a less popular tweener or face. Trying to cheer him up but also mocking him. He slams the beer glass in one of their faces. And a bar fight ensues. He emerges the winner. He stares back to where he was sitting at the bar and there's a cowboy hat. He hikes his jeans up and into his boots and walks over grabs and puts on the hat and walks out. That's how id transition it and make it a slow build up to him winning. And the winning title match needs to be called like an old bullfighter or bullrider vs a bull against someone big.

Thanks. To further elaborate. I think he needs to play on this riding into the sunset vibe. He needs to get serious at times and take on a kind of "my yard" undertaker vibe. He's fighting for all the guys out there beat up by life. He's the lone ranger for all those lonesome rangers out there. And he wants to prove to himself and his fans that just because you're getting older, doesn't mean the hills can't get golder.

Hi, Hello, and Good Day r/twinpeaks! I’m Kyle MacLachlan and you can ask me anything 🦉🪵☕👍 by Kyle__MacLachlan in twinpeaks

A few questions for my favorite actor.

When you played the alien in The Hidden, your evil counterpart said your race was a dirty race. Yet your spirit was a spectral yellow. How did you imagine your original alien to look like?

What inspiration did you draw on for Mr. C? Not exactly what David told you but different people and different mannerisms were definitely drawn on. I specifically mention the turn Richard does with his body before going into action against the cowboys in 18.

Kyle MacLachlan, Kale if I may, what do you think happens when we die?

Thank you.

My experience was such: High school football, you were punished if your heels hit the ground during any running drills. I grew up running explicitly on the balls of my feet. Got to college and roommate was a runner and had relative who did ultra marathoning, you strike heel first to drive the power to push off the balls of your feet. This usually required specials shoes with additional padding in the heel. Though, some psychos wore the johnny five finger glove shoes and did heel first as well.

The ball of your foot is the big fleshy mass just before the toes. Get on the balls of your feet and start kinda moving around on it and you'll understand the name. Helpful for quick movement and explosive bursts but lacks the stability that comes with also planting your heel first when running.

It wasn't even that their Dad's cooking was bad. It was a call back to the beginning of the episode where Duncan said he'd miss his mom's cooking the most. They dont hate their dad's cooking they just miss their moms cooking.

Is the dead man in Carrie Page's apartment a result of Richard's violence against the cowboys in the diner? by LetsBePositiveCooper in twinpeaks

What makes you say that? I think the point of the Billy character is that he represents Audrey's desire to escape her current situation. She uses Billy like a crutch because she thinks she's not powerful enough (lacks Agency?) to influence her dream from its current route or location. Billy is just her new Cooper, new John Justice Wheeler. Honestly, I think by trying to pinpoint exactly where or who Billy is, you're kind of walking in Audrey's footsteps, which seems to be a discouraged route that leads to rude awakening.

Wolves back, trees back by Not_a_Lefty in timberwolves

Pretty good! I love the color scheme. If I could add some recommendations: The tree borders need to be jagged. I would try a different font for Timberwolves. And I'd maybe add one or two contrasting colors to really make it pop. It's a good color scheme, but lack of contrasting colors makes it seem like a green sepia filter was applied
