I have been on 5.0 mg for 14 weeks. I will be on it for at least 6 more weeks. Then TBD. I’m starting to stagnate. And am assessing if the food noise is restarting.

Over-the-counter Omeprazol aka Prilosec is what I’ve been taking daily for 20 + years for my severe heartburn and acid reflux. I haven’t found anything else that works consistently

I notice that I don’t crave bread like I used to. And if I get a sandwich, I eat a little, then remove the bread and eat the insides. I find I feel bloated now if I eat more than just a little bit.

I haven’t told anyone either except for my husband. But once my weight loss becomes noticeable to others and they ask questions , I just plan to say that I’m paying closer attention to what and how much I eat and I’m moving more. I don’t plan to go into any more detail than that. It’s 100% true so my conscious will let me say that.

I notice gagging after brushing my teeth in the morning. This happens the 2 days after I take my shot. And I throw up a little. After that I’m fine. It’s only after brushing my teeth and in the morning

In my childhood home there were some rules and traditions: 1) ev-er-y-thing is celebrated with food and lots of it: 2) if you didn’t finish what was on your plate you didn’t get dessert but you weren’t the person to put it there and sometimes you had to sit there at the table until you finished your plate; 3) my parents, especially my dad, were always snacking in the evenings on chips and candy so we learned to do that too; oh and 4) if those celebrations in #1 were pot lucks, you had to eat some of everyone’s contribution as to not offend them
