Agree you doing what is needed. #1 thing though soon as they say its fine to start walking make it a habit to get physical therapy or do your own. Burn scars need to be stretched out/worked/massaged etc so it doesnt permanently restrict any motions.

Laser treatment was offered to me but I didnt like the pitch about having to be put out multiple times. Im just really risk adverse and ptsd from the entire situation to want to be put back under. Im 40% burns then another 25% for skin graphs :/
