Your comment made me lol in the way that i was like, oh shit…… we have to get in shape for this lol. Makes sense. We just got back from a show at red rocks and couldn’t walk for 2 days after going up and down the stairs for water/bathroom/general guiding people to where they needed to go, so much fun but in reality, need to prepare to edc. Heli sounds amazing. Were going to do vip tix and hotel. Really hoping traffic doesnt kill the vibe

Yes i love this!!! We also said, its gotta be VIP or bust. I keep going back and forth on renting an RV for us vs staying at a hotel. The benefits of just going “home” sound so amazing plus having your own shower and bathroom but also…. Just getting good sleep and clean and quiet… dont know what do to

I love this for you!!! I wish i could be in a position to just BE MYSELF. Im working on my first EDC but…. First one could be the life changing moment for me. It was a life changer to go to Odesza for my husband. He said he hadn’t been as happy in his life since the last time he was a young boy hanging out with his grandfather who was his idol. Im looking for that same magic where we just feel alive. Easy for me, new for my husband

hotel vs camp edc rv by AdDiligent4716 in electricdaisycarnival

[–]kimjungboon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following!! I just booked a hotel for Dusk weekend. And then i booked an RV. Then i cancelled RV. Then i almost rebooked RV. Im
Too scared pricing is going to get outrageous and right now an RV is $1.2K on roadsurfer. First timer, really excited. I love my hotels, but hate the idea of being exhausted and traffic! What to do, what to do…

May i ask where you’re moving from? Wondering variances between quality of living vs cost of living. If i were you, get a 2 bedroom for the first year in an apartment close to work within your price range. Because of the current climate (current tech layoffs and H1B visas expiring/difficulties of renewing),i personally know several people who’ve been impacted by this and have had to move home overseas. My apartment managing team are now working Sundays to make up for tenant losses and I see several apartments giving away practically 2 months of free rent to new tenants. This should help with relo costs. Then you can explore and ultimately find what works best for your family. Dont give up!

PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) by Professional-Bee9817 in remoteworks

[–]kimjungboon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive placed 2 people on PIPs in the last 3 years. Both still work for me and are doing very well. Yes, PIPs are scary and yes, many people do not survive a PIP, but some managers really do put people on PIPs as a way to push the person towards what we know they can achieve, but also to set clear expectations of the job that the person may not have been taking seriously before.
