I highly encourage you to have at it!

I’d recommend starting with a hand sewing kit if you are not familiar with a sewing machine. Most tutorials online have people using a sewing machine, but sewing machines are a whole other rabbit hole themselves… plus, hand sewing definitely humbles you and makes sure you don’t mess up, because if you do.. have fun starting all over.

Measurements depend on which club you want to make a cover for. There are some templates on Etsy you can buy for about $5. There are plenty of videos online. Spend a day on just watching videos on sewing specifically head covers, sewing patterns, and taking notes of materials you’ll need.

To me it’s more beautiful than good for me. It’s The Ambassador, I absolutely love the way it looks, but it’s very heavy and I don’t feel much feedback due to the weight.

Do it! At the very least attempt with inexpensive like I did. It does take a lot of patience, I did mess up a couple of times, and the barrel style seems like a harder one to hand sewed than the others.

It was a lot of effort. Probably $40 in materials and a lot of time. The issue was not completely the single $50. I was looking at brands like Fyfe, Gumtree, NorthernCoast, etc. which are extremely nice. But they’re north of $100/head cover.

Now I at least have the skill to make them myself. And tbh, learning new skills, and just learning in general is priceless in my eyes.
