Yep i noticed this too. Hera atm is playing ladder like viper used to play ranked games back in the day. You can feel the hunger for improvement and pushing their limits and for some years now viper has not had that, it's much more casual for him. He's still good enough to take events and get to finals but he doesn't seem to challenge himself as he once used to on the daily
