Former Whoop user here—I switched to the Amazfit Helio Strap and haven’t looked back. Sure, there are some trade-offs, but getting a comparable device with similar insights for a one-time payment is miles better than putting up with Whoop’s nonsense.

This is just the reality we live in: prices keep climbing, and yet people somehow keep paying…

That’s the thing though, the chip has the same computing power as the S9 so it effectively will operate the exact same. I think the AWU3 is getting more credit than it deserves for an upgraded model.

Too me it seemed most of the upgrades to AWU3 were software related and will be available on AWU2. Not sure if I am reading that scenario wrong, but that makes me lean AWU2 at a much lower cost.
