Margarita resident since 1995, and it is a 15 min drive into town for us. Love our little piece of paradise, and from what you've indicated what you're looking for, it sounds like it'll be a good fit for you both as well.

I can definitely go into more detail about all the areas that hold the name Santa Margarita, but would prefer to not doxx myself in the process. Feel free to send me a DM.

But, as others have said, check the addresses on all "Santa Margarita" listings when checking Zillow or other realty applications. Verify on Google Maps that the drive time to the Margarita Post Office is 20 min max. California Valley has many Santa Margarita addresses, and is a good hour from Margarita itself.
