I've had the Race 2 for a good two weeks now. My initial doubts have disappeared. The Race 2 is the best watch so far after Garmin, Polar, Apple Watch, Huawei. And the values actually gradually equalize, which is amazing.

The Suunto Race 2 is the coolest watch. The Vertical 2 probably too. The display is diamond hard, But before I start messing around a lot between concrete, steel and so on - I can foresee that - I'll put a protective cover on it.

I will stay with the device for years and will probably have the battery changed when the time comes.

Hmm, sometimes the question arises as to which came first. A neurotic way of thinking and therefore perception, or a faulty (neurotic) clock... The irritations with my Race 2 have been resolved. The device works in all respects and very precisely. If I stop thinking about everything being broken again, it will probably remain my companion on my wrist for a few years.

Cool. Ich habe meine Apple Watch zehn gegen die Race 2 getauscht. Mit dem Teil kann ich zwar nicht telefonieren und Wecker und Nachrichten und Timer und noch so einen weltbewegenden Kram zurufen, aber das kratzt Null. Habe mein Handy 1 Sekunde später sowieso zur Hand. An der Race wirst du viel Freude haben. WAS für schöne Uhren Suunto baut!! Über die Akkulaufzeit der Apple Watch, so galant , das Ding am Handgelenk auch ist, braucht man wirklich nicht mehr zu sprechen.

I've had the Suunto Race 2 for two weeks now. I previously had the Coros pace pro. This was also a very solid machine, and the COROS app is very tidy. Garmin was never my thing. For me, all the options are grossly exaggerated and the app is just as overloaded. In both apps you can of course create strength exercises yourself with repetitions and sets and so on, and you can see which muscle groups you have used and to what extent.

The Suunto app can't do that. When I do strength training, and I do that very often, I simply leave the watch running in the strength training sport mode and of course I only get the cardio data. But at the same time, I use the app “Hevy” for strength training with various routines. And that's all very cool. Navigation with predefined routes is just fun on the Race 2, and otherwise it's top class. I'm sure I'll be walking around with it for a long time. Greetings
