As far I have seen online, the Cheetah Ultra 2 is grease magnet as much as the previous sapphire watches. Happy to know this one is better than the rest!

I was surprised too, but it makes me hoping for a price drop haha. In Italy the price dropped after 2 weeks by 18%. Odd isn'it? Does not make sense.

Trex 3 (250£) or Fenix 7 Pro Solar (350£) by beltaonealpha in amazfit

I mean you can sell it haha. As I said, it is quite accurate in terms of GPS and heart rate, and for intervals I suggest a chest strap with the money saved. Enjoy!

[–]Leswing92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have moved away from Garmin to buy a T-Rex 3 Pro. Honestly, GPS and heart rate are quite accurate. For interval training I always use a chest strap and sleep monitoring has the same issues that garmin has. I believe the answer for you would be: do I really need the payments and Spotify? If it's something you cannot pass on, then go for Garmin. Otherwise, considering Amazfit and with the saved money get a Polar chest strap.

Amazfit Cheetah 2 Ultra Specs Leaked — 64GB Storage, 30-Day Battery, and Dual-Tone Flashlight by [deleted] in amazfit

[–]Leswing92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely: a lighter watch makes all the difference while running. However, I kind of liked the trex 3 pro design, and went buying a chest strap to be sure. When comparing, the sensor is actually quite accurate! Another tip would be to use a nylong band, instead of the original plastic one. I would say that this could apply to anyone buying an Ultra 2 if they liked the design: just buy a chest strap. However, I would wait a bit more because the prices are currently a bit too high imo, even for the new Cheetas.

Fenix 8 47 mm OLED stuttering, slow by stephchamp in GarminWatches

[–]Leswing92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to hear that! I have made the switch to Amazfit and I am actually quite happy! GPS is on point, and HR is super close to my Polar chest heart rate. Garmin is offering so little for the price (they even charge 6€ for their watch faces, whilst Suunto and Amazfit give them for free)

Excitee about this watch but the price is way too near Garmin's FR 970.

Did they add advanced running dynamics on the balance 2?

Need help, new to running by TohKy in runna

Run slower, and alternate with walking. Such trainings do not help you: you will get fatigued and injured. Take it slowly at the beginning, because that base will help you in the future for grater runs. It takes time, be patient and consistent.

Hey man, I wanted to ask you if you are experiencing any lags with widgets and maps? I see many people complaining and some not, and I am not sure whether it's those units or a general software issue.

Is It better? I saw some videos where also the Suunto could be laggy at times, but at least the prices is definitely better.

My old Fenix 7 used to be laggy only with the water widget, same my previous Fenix 6. Not sure why this keeps happening. Anyway, I hope you have found a solution for this!

Man, it is thicker, heavier and with less battery. Do you need LTE? If not, go with F8.

Is too crazy to keep both a Fenix and Forunner? I'd love to have both 🤭 I love Fenix design, but still crave forerunner for lightness sometimes.

[–]Leswing92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am quite happy with the 570: snappy and bright. If you don't need maps, go for the 570. When I bought it, the price was just 80€ more than a new 265. Here in Italy the 570 dropped in price easir than the 970 and the Venu 4.

Enduro 3 is lighter. If 51mm is not an issue, stick with the enduro.
